Golden Princess Cabin E710 Review

This cabin is an obstructed view cabin on deck 8 on the port side. It is a twin cabin (no facility for a 3rd or 4th person), so there are no bunk beds hanging off the side walls to hinder you. It is situated just around the corner from the aft stairs and is just above the Vista Lounge. The obstruction is very minimal, with just a few metal bars about 3 metres out from the window. A Comfortable cabin with plenty of storage space, but like most Princess ships, the bathroom is tiny and the shower is minute.

The noise from the Vista Lounge was minimal, but we could hear the people in the cabin next door, on both sides. When the rear side thrusters are fired up, the whole cabin shakes and vibrates, as would all other cabins down this end of the ship. It is quite annoying when we dock early as it is impossible to sleep through. It is situated handy to the Vista Lounge and the Canaletto restaurant and is 5 floors directly under the buffet.

The fridge had plenty of room and kept our drinks reasonably cold.
