Post Cruise Tours in Singapore Recommendations

You could always take the HOHO bus. There are several different routes and you can stop and prowl around Orchard Road, Raffles, Chinatown, Little India, Arab Street, etc. You can pick it up at the Marina Sands Hotel, which is visible from the port. You'll have to take a taxi, even though it looks like you could walk--you can't--it's all torn up and under construction. The cruise terminal is uber-modern, I don't remember actually seeing luggage lockers there, but I'd be surprised if they didn't have them. Enjoy beautiful Singapore!

We did arrive into Marina Bay Cruise Terminal (Millennium Celebrity) - there are two terminals)

Stored our louggage at the cruise terminal and took a taxi down town - walked through the town. Then a taxi back to the terminal - picking up luggage and then change clothing for the flight and a taxi to airport - cost for storage and taxi to/from city and to airport S$ 66.

Here is two short videos

Good tips and really enjoyed your videos. Looks like I better pack my umbrella! Thanks for posting.

Also a small fold up rain jacket or rain coat, as umbrellas are useless in the torrential rainstorms. Otherwise, just find somewhere to wait until the heavy rain clears.

Singapore is easy to explore yourself using their excellent public transport system , heres how :

RAFFLES HOTEL Hotel on Bras Bahah Road . The famous Long Bar is on the First Floor up the back . Partake of the Singapore Sling and shelling your peanuts (shells) on the floor is a tradition . Raffles Museum (Free) also down the back upstairs on the 2nd floor. An outstanding Raffles Souvenir Shop on the Ground Floor off the Garden Courtyard. Nearest MRT Dhoby Ghaut & Bras Basah .

CHINATOWN - Pagoda Street is the heart of Chinatown from 10am daily .

MRT to Chinatown. Great Souvenir shopping.

LITTLE INDIA - Mainly foods and handcrafts . MRT to Little India.

SHOPPING : On Orchard Road, MRT to Dhoby Ghaut then walk . This is the area to shop for watches and electronics .

BUGIS STREET: A vibrant daytime market, MRT to Bugis Street .

Nearest MRT to Singapore Cruise Centre is Harbourfront.

JURONG BIRD PARK : take the MRT to Boon Lay, walk out end of platform and turn left for bus Interchange . Take Bus # 194 Express to this world famous Bird Park.

NIGHT ZOO SAFARI : This is quite a way out of town . Best done as a tour bookable with most Hotels or with some Cruise Companies.

CHANGHI MUSEUM. A moving museum showing Singapore under the Japanese Occupation from 1942 for 3 years. MRT to Tanah Marah station, then # 2 Bus to Museum, or # 2 bus all the way from Victoria St in the City.
