CAS Ratings

I know im basically answering my own questions before posting here, but figured I see if anyone else had any experiences.

I booked through CAS last November and got 20% off my room plus drink card. I played in the casino without a lie at least 24 hours during the seven day cruise; it was almost entirely at craps.

I was told when I called today my AWT (Average weekly theoretical loss) was $711, and it needed to be $1,000 or more to qualify for anything. They would extend a 10% discount "As a courtesy" if I traveled with someone else; I generally travel solo.

Has anyone ever called and gotten a different person or manager and gotten different comps? I've sailed my last six cruises on NCL and this coupled with a couple other things has me seriously considering trying a different casino on a different cruiseline :(

You should def call again, and again, and again if need be. Many agents are horribly misinformed. CAS is known for less than stellar customer relations

Once you get the proper booking, the cruises and casinos are great. our favorite ship, casino and casino staff is the Gem.

I have found craps to be the game you get rated lowest at since the odds for the player are the best of almost any game you play. I still play that more than any other game. Other cruise lines besides NCL do not have good crap tables. And I agree about the Gem. We were just on it this past November and the crap table was filled every night.

I also found the points on the Crap tables are low, in fact roulette is the same. Even though I am GOLDEN, my big issue with NCL is the CAS point system. Players (like me) who play $ 100 to $ 300 in 30 min. or so and leave a crap or roulette table and move to another, get squat for points because you did not stay at the table a long time.

I do not play slots (just not my thing), but I always spend an hour each day on them to get my point level up.

HOW STRANGE...you spend/loose $200 to $400 in 30 min on a table game and get noticeably less points than if you spend/loose $75 to $100 in 1 hour on slots.

Although I like casinos on NCL and RCL, I find that it depends on the host.

CAS can be beneficial, but...what you are offered is NOT always what you receive. It's like "guess what our offer is today".

Anyone else in this boat or do I have and "obstructed view"?

Thnx & looking forward to NCL Breakaway 6/7/15

No Hal, you are correct. More like I have had the same experience and I do the same thing for the same reason, I call it the walk of shame, when I go spend just over an hour at the slots. Sad we have to that but Ive spent 4-6 hours a night at the tables and told well you only had 2 hours total time. Im also finding that some ships the pit bosses just plain suck. They dont what little they should be doing anymore.
