Why So Few Cabins With Twin Beds?

I was wondering why there are so few cabins on the PG which can either be twins or one queen? Most seem only to have the one queen option. This seem unusual compared to many cruise ships where almost all cabins can accommodate either configuration. I can only assume there are built in end tables which cannot be moved. Does anyone know?

Your assumption is correct: 16_222x161_E_WinStatrm.jpg

"Why So Few Cabins With Twin Beds?"

Because "twin" likes particular cabins :D

Ok, now seriously ........... FP is a prime destination for honeymooners and anniversary couples, I'm sure they like twin beds

I hunk that it's a combination of the fixed furniture and the fact that twins pushed together are not a good substitute for a queen/king, as no matter what they do, there is always a gap or lump in the middle, and most people sailing the PG are couples who want to share a bed.

My first thought too! Only need a bed for Twin on the cruises he sails ;) Seriously, I guess I'd agree with the pair thing- young newlyweds, old newlyweds, anniversary couples- lesbian, gay, straight. The pairs were not all the same but I can count on one hand the people on our cruise who WERENT in a romantic pairing! ;)
