It all depends on what you are looking for in a hotel...

If what you are planning on doing is just kicking back and relaxing...sitting by the hotel pool, taking a nice walk around the neighborhood, going out to eat at a nice restaurant, etc., it's a great choice. It's a very nice hotel in an upscale neighborhood, right next to King Harbor, Redondo Beach's yacht harbor. There are lots of restaurants very close to the hotel. You can take a pleasant walk around King Harbor, by the Redondo Beach Pier and along the beach. You're not that far from the cruise terminal and not that far from LAX.

OTOH, if what you are planning on doing is using it as a base to spend the day touring Los Angeles, then it's not really that close to most of the tourist sites.

Thanks, it's one day post cruise, because we have to stay over to get a direct flight home the next day. It sounds like just what we want.
