Can any gentlemen recommend a barbershop in London? One where they have hot towels.

He is VERY thin on top, and has a full beard.

Where are you staying. LOndon is a BIG city.

I'm undecided. Maybe around the V andA museum.

I've stayed in that area a few times.

The barber at Fortnum & Mason, without a doubt.

There are quite a few top class barbers in London, but most are grouped around the West End (The city centre area to the west of the historic City of London where the theatres and major shopping streets are. One of the best is Ruffians in Covent Garden. Nice for you too, because there is plenty around there to keep you amused while DH gets his locks shorn.

You would need to make an appointment and Saturdays are very busy.

Geo. F. Trumper is reputed to be the finest traditional gentlemen's barbershop in London. Your husband may find himself sitting next to the likes of Lord Peter Wimsey or Bertram Wilberforce Wooster. ;)
