Alcohol purchase on excursion

Is there a limit of alcohol that you can purchase on your cruise and bring back home with you? I know they keep it until the night before you disembark. But is there a bottle limit?;)

The cruise line has no limit that I'm aware of. US Customs probably has a duty free limit.

It's your country's custom limit, as far as "tax free" goes.....the ship doesn't care how much you buy! Custom's doesn't care either, as long as you pay the duty tax on anything over your limit!

Unless you go out of Galveston then Texas authorities will get their share!

No limit in the ship only with customs

Declare it and just pay the little extra if they ask for payment

Simple

They won't always ask for additional payment as depends on duty for it to be worth the paperwork
