Roll Calls for new P&O Aus ships

When is CC going to set up Roll Call options for the new P&O Australia ships - Pacific Eden and Pacific Aria?

Just an update on local progress...

The Community team has set up the Roll Calls for P&O's "new" Pacific Aria and Pacific Eden. So if you've booked a cruise on these ships next year, head over to:

Also, just a heads up, some local Australian news has started appearing on the main CC news site:

We asked for them but no body seem to want to use them. I must be travelling on the Eden alone. :( K

I have set up a roll call for December 7th 2015 on the Pacific Aria but noticed the drop down find a roll call thingy doesn't have any listed. Are they added automatically? Concerned people are looking for PO Australia roll calls and don't find them and don't go looking any further.:confused:

Not added automatically by CC. Roll Calls need to be started by passengers. It's a fairly new concept for most Australians, especially as a lot of people on P&O are first-time cruisers and therefore never used CC until now!

I will ask P&O if we can promote on their FB page.

If you have any ideas of how we could promote Roll Calls to the wider public, let me know!

I started one (Aria's inaugural sailing out of Sydney on the 25th) a while ago but it is not busy at all.

OK, I still can't work out how to get the roll call I started into the drop down list of roll calls. It's at http://boards.cruisecritic.com.au/showthread.php?p=46417908#post46417908

When you arrive at the find a roll call page http://www.cruisecritic.com.au/rollcalls/?sr=3&sd=1

the drop down box has Pacific Aria but there are no roll calls. So...just need to know how I get the one started added to the search box so people can find it.

yes, not a lot of action on any local cruises.:(

Maybe being local cruises people are doing them as a group anyway and also all the ports are known so there is not really a need for excursion information. I know on our Food and Wine cruise from Adelaide not only is my family group on board, but my TA, their staff and their families.

I'll most likely go round the ship bumping into tons of people I already know :D

However maybe they will start up for the more unusual destinations as they get closer, I'm not even thinking of our New Guinea cruise in Oct 16, that's too far out.

I think that is exactly why the roll calls are virtually non existent.
