I-Phone in the Baltics

I am trying to decide on how or if I will take my I-phone with us next week. Does anyone have any real ideas on hw to keep y phone active without coming home with a bill higher than the cruise was?

On our iPhone we just turn the international roaming off. That way we can use the phone portion if we want but we won't be using the other capabilities.
