Weather in Yucatan

Today the forecast for High Point, NC is a high of 98. Forecast for Merida/Progreso is 96. I for one will enjoy the coolness of Merida.

As one of my tshirts says:

The Weather in the Yucatan is pleasant and cool, but you won't notice 'cuz it's so HOT!

Looking forward to another couple of nice, balmy, tropical, HOT days in the Yucatan in 17 and a wake up. Had a great time during my week long visit to Merida last month, but it was some kind of steamy. Ended up going over to Playa Del Carmen for a couple of days to cool off with a bunch of crazy Germans and a couple of locals.

We just got back and it was so HOT and humid it sucked all the energy out of us.:D

We loved little Progreso though, and the friendly people there. How they manage to work in that heat I don't know, but my hat is off to them.
