PG Huahini Lagoon Cruise Excursion - anyone taken this one?

We are going on the PG March 16th and have booked the Huahini lagoon crusie. I've not found any comments about this excursion. Has anyone taken this excursion and can you give feedback?

What time does it leave, how long is it, where does it go, how much snorkeling will we get?

Both my stops in Huahine I used Marc from Huahine Nautique - if your trip stops in Huahine for 8 hours he will run this trip if enough people book. It is FABULOUS. I don't know anyone who did this on the PG or the Tahitian Princess for that matter as on the TP NO ONE used the Princess trip!

There are 2 different mooring places for the ship thus the actual location of snorkeling may change based on the mooring location. Never taken this tour so I don't have first hand experience. There are several areas that have snorkeling all around Huahine.

We have taken both the ships excursion and the one by Huahine Nautique. I prefered Marc. The ships - when I took it was about the same but I didnt like two things.

1) They took us to a motu which was kind of dirty and the water in the lagoon there was not fresh.

2) they stopped for snorkelling in an area which had a really bad current.

Marc's was a better excursion, well run, fine tuned and also cheaper.

When we did the ships excursion we were disappointed. One snorkel stop for about 60-90 minutes and then a short boat ride in the lagoon. Very disappointing.

Done Marc's excursion twice, third time upcoming in September. It REALLY is excellent.
