southampton to Heathrow

Need to get to Heathrow on November 4 from Southampton. We had planned on taking the National Express Coach as we did the last time. However, it appears the coaches are not running that route that day. Any other suggestions for inexpensive alternate transportation.

The buses are running, I just checked. Remember you need to go from the "coach station" not the cruise terminal. The terminal buses are "special" buses just for P&O cruises.

Another option is to go to your cruise roll call board and see if there is a group that would like to share a private car/van. We have one for 8 of us (Smith's) and are paying less than $20. per person.

A quick look suggests that you may just be looking far too early for that date. There are a couple of services in the schedule, but not nearly as many as I'd expect to see. And there's no reason why they would not operate that day.
