Can we leave a suitcase onboard between TAs?

We will be going from NY to UK in June on QM2 and will be returning back in July. Is there any way to leave your luggage on board between cruises? We will not have a need for our formal wear while we are touring, so it would be such lightening to our load if we could leave that bag on board. I tried searching but couldn't find anything recent. Thank you!

If you are not on a back to back, then no, you cannot leave a bag(s) on board. QM2 does not have the storage space. As you stated that you would be touring for a time, then you must take all baggage with you.

However, there is an on shore storage facility. Go to the pursers counter, explain what you need. They will take care of you. We did this 2 years ago. The bag was picked up the night before, and when we embarked some 6 weeks later, our bag was waiting for us in our cabin. The normal cost, I believe, is 65 USD per bag for 30 days. At least that is what we paid.

We just did the Aug eastbound TA and returned on the September 8 westbound back to NYC. Yes, no problem leaving a bag with Cunard -- cost is $65 for a month or less. Just talk to the pursers office - they will give you a special tag; leave the bag outside your stateroom and it will magically appear back in your stateroom on your return trip. Its great!!!

Just another voice to confirm that it is possible and easy to leave a bag with Cunard's on-shore luggage storage people.

We did this in May for our trip and our suitcase was waiting for us in our cabin.

The whole thing was very easy and we are eternally grateful to some returning world cruisers we met one night at dinner who told us about it as we had been intending to leave our luggage in a NY storage facility which would have been much more expensive and inconvenient.
