Copenhagen hotels and site seeing

We are staying in Copenhagen for one night after our cruise on September 15th. Any recommendations for a clean, reasonable price hotel close to tourist attractions. Also how do you get from the ship to hotel, then hotel to airport. What are some of the main tourist sites we must see. Thanks in advance.

There are also other posts with answers to various Copenhagen questions. Hotels are in various price ranges and one persons expensive is another persons outrageous. If you are not a member, check out Tripadvisor which gives reviews and information on hotels, sights, etc.
