I genuinely can not thank you enough for this thread. Really. I've done some searches but I seem to never word things to find just what I want. I still have questions but looking at these helps me SO much.

I have heard stories of kids being turned away from participating in the kids academy due to space limitations..... Did you experience (or hear about) this at all? My children are ages 4 & 6 and the primary reason we chose this cruise was due to the kids programs.

I was on the August 2nd cruise and got the notice about there being a lot of kids on the sailing also. I sailed on Breakaway last August and there were a lot of kids in my children's age group one is 4 and twins who are 8.

This year both the 5 year old and 9 year old twins group did not have a lot of kids. I asked one of the staff and they told me out of 1100 minors on board something like 800 were teens.

I think it will vary by sailing.
