myfuzzy Posted March 6, 2017 #1 Share Posted March 6, 2017 I recently received a mailer with a players club promotion. I knew about the discounted cruise rate and nominal play cash for the casino, but I never noticed the "VIP amenities". Can someone tell me if this is a new program? VIP check in, dedicated host, VIP welcome aboard Cocktail Party to name a few. Would I get more information on this upon embarkation?

VIP check in, dedicated host, VIP welcome aboard Cocktail Party to name a few. Would I get more information on this upon embarkation? If you decide to book this make sure you bring your letter with you for your casino cash. Information about the cocktail party will come to your room. They will explain a lot about your amenities at this party. Free drinks while you gamble in casino. You will get a sticker for your card. We have done several of these and some of the gifts were very nice. Once group picture...with nice frame. One time they added up your points and had a party to bid on special things offered on ship. Like specialty dining certificate, spa treatments , certificates to spend in gift shop. ultimate ship tour ,I think chef's table. Your points added up until several days before end of cruise and then you bid on those gifts. Your points continued till end of cruise to go toward free cruise or money to use in casino on a future cruise. It was fun.... we usually do a longer cruise if we do these. Hope this helps! myfuzzy Posted March 6, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted March 6, 2017 Yes, thank you. Either this is a 1. new promotion, 2. not very many people have heard of it or 3. people are keeping this secret to themselves
Rebels82 Posted March 6, 2017 #4 Share Posted March 6, 2017 I started a post about this in the Cruise Casino section about 2 weeks ago. Based on very few responses, it looks like it is either new or not many people have received the mailer. I am surprised I got one since I have only been on 1 Princess cruise in the last 15 years. I only spend $200/night on Let It Ride or 3 Card Poker. Thanks for the advice to bring the mailer. I will be going on the Crown 3/20.

I never realized to look for a "casino" section on CC, but I thought being specifically a Princess promotion I would ask here. We are platinum and my DH just loves to support the casino while we are on board. Hopefully others will come forward with more information. BTW, I am also bringing the mailer.
