Taxi Rates in Aruba

is the taxi rate in aruba per person or per cab?

is there any where on the net that I can find prices to get anywhere.

St Thomas has an awesome taxi rate schedule so i can budget accordingly. Does Aruba have one like that?

Serene56, I'd assume that the port would be considered Oranjestad (on the price sheet) since that's where the ships dock.

You don't need to take a taxi to Renaissance Island. You just walk to the Marriott (short distance from the pier) and buy a day pass and take a ferry to the island.

Just returned from a week vacation in Aruba. Had a great time. Very windy 24/7. Taxi ride to Aruba Resort and Spa in High Rise area cost $20.00 per cab one way. Law states that taxi's can not hold more than five passengers (it's the Law). So if you have more than five in your group, you must take two taxis. Public bus runs along main street and costs $2.00 round trip. Very convenient and clean. only trouble is that bus stops are far and few between and they run about every 20 minutes or more.
