Spanish Bay Reef Resort

I cannot help you from actually being there, but I can help you from posts I have made and pictures I have seen. There is not a beach that goes into the water. There is a little sandy beach outside of the pool area and restaurant area with nice lounge chairs etc, but there are rocks separating the beach from the water. It is supposed to be a great snorkeling area, which I've been trying to figure out myself whether the snorkeling is good enough combined with the other ammenities to pay the $$ and go. Hope this helps a little.

Did this excursion a couple of years ago. The above poster is right about the beach, pretty rocky. You go down some steps into the water for snorkeling. Snorkeling was pretty good. The resort itself is not what I expected. There was a pool (small), hammicks (sp?), lounge chairs and things like that but all seem to be a little run down. Don't think it was worth the $$ and would not do it again.
