Has anyone done the DZ tour through Carnival?

The few reviews I've read of non-Carnival tours to DZ have the patrons squeaking in just in time for departure. I'd be a nervous wreck, worrying that the ship would leave us in Progreso. :o

So, has anyone done the Carnival tour to DZ? Do you have time to swim in the cenote?

There have been numerous reports on this board of complete satisfaction from AutoProgreso. It is the same company that provides the complementary shuttle service from the ship to town.

We did it 6 years ago on our second cruise. It was OK and yes, you have time to hit the cenote. Pretty place.
