  1. Many thanks. Sorry for delay. I’ve just been to dinner.
  2. HH, can you help, I’ve got the wrong poster.
  3. All the ones encountered so far are well matched but rather dull, like most of the ones on their other ships.
  4. Some may remember a most interesting review of a Cunard Med. trip by @Jam manI think. He asked about the incidence of pineapples on cabin doors. Just To say, so far, I have detected none. Or any form of decoration whatsoever. 😀
  5. Despite the impression you might get from some posters here, it is really not like that. Basic standards of politeness and a little kindness are all that is required. Don’t worry, and smile at all the crew.
  6. I have just been for a wander in the sun around the outside areas of Decks 11-14. I am very impressed. There is a huge amount of outside sunning space, and, for Grills passengers at least, Deck 11 provides a most agreeable all round promenade. Oh, and I found a rust spot on our balcony, so I feel much at home.
  7. There is a certainly a large blank area on the plan which must surely be the Grills Galley. Interesting about PG. I think QG is a lovely room, just not the seating arrangements.
  8. Sorry, I was talking nonsense. The internet is brilliant: it is my email that won’t work, which I think may be something to do with BT. I have a feeling something similar happens the last time we went to the Canaries.
  9. You wanted to know about journals. The Cunard themed shop has something called a Cunard memorial notebook, nattily bound in eau de nil leather. Would that suffice? Still can’t get my internet to work.
  10. I have just got back from the first Sunday Service on Queen Anne, which was very well attended, as you might expect. It was also unexpectedly hilarious. Inevitably, on a brand new ship, with all the latest technology, the sound system failed half way through, so the Captain was inaudible to most. They brought an alternative, but, while they were trying to fix things, they managed to plunge us, though not the stage, into darkness. It all took about ten minutes. All good fun.
  11. I think Cunard passengers are usually pretty polite and understand that people in wheelchairs are dependant on the lifts. However, they are not the only ones, many seemingly able bodied passengers are also pretty decrepit and couldn’t cope with several flights of stairs either. But so far that aspect has been fairly peaceable I would think.
  12. Last night was black and white formal night, and everyone I encountered seemed entirely appropriately dressed, nearly all in accordance with the theme. I felt rather a renegade for wearing red shoes.
  13. It won’t be from personal experience, because I would not wish to spend a moment in the place, which I have really taken against, but I will ask around.
