familycruzer Posted August 26, 2010 #1 Share Posted August 26, 2010 Any ideas what to see during the day with a teenager and what Marriott brand hotel would be closest to the sights?
Mysticks1 Posted August 26, 2010 #2 Share Posted August 26, 2010 The Aquarium, Zoo, French Market, Riverwalk and Riverboat Cruises are there. Take a look a http://www.NewOrleansonline.com . Beware of taking a younger teen down Bourbon St. even in the daytime they might see things that you would not want them to.
Rare WriterOnDeck Posted August 26, 2010 #3 Share Posted August 26, 2010 I've stayed at Marriott on Canal. Good location. Also consider the World War II museum -- my teenaged nephew loved it. Also a movie theater a couple of blocks from the Marriott, so that was nice for one evening. We did Bourbon St. about 7 pm -- nothing too extreme, just depends on your teenager.
