rugbypopsie Posted April 28, 2012 #6 Share Posted April 28, 2012 Onboard ship is USD and tours drinks etc. etc. all put onto your ship account which is linked to your Australian credit card. Do not let the ship do the conversion to Australian currency..mark the paperwork you get at embarkation NO CONVERSION that way your bank will convert at the time the charge gets there...the ships rate may be much much lower. I always take my spending money in USD cash ( lockable safe in cabin) and any money left over at end of cruise I pay off the ships account.
