  1. Example: Right below your total it will say whether its refundable or non-refundable. If you do not have your invoice, ask your TA or Celebrity for it, or find the email sent to you when you booked. A change fee of $100 per guest applies to change ships or dates.
  2. Is your deposit refundable or non-refundable? It should show on your invoice.
  3. Looks to me like you have the all included add-on and you bought your cruise during the current sale which is buy one, get one at 75% off. 🙂
  4. I upgraded from classic to premium on 1/13/23 and my husband did not. The celebrity rep said, no problem and processed the single person upgrade for $20/day (+$4 gratuity) and applied my 5% discount. Total for 7 day cruise was $159.46.
  5. Wasn’t Charles & Diana’s wedding in 1981? And the Silhouette released in 2011? Either way, I’m sure it’d be fun to watch on a ship! 🙂
  6. A lot of people here and on FB seem to be very worried about reserving a time for dinner on Beyond. I did some research and math to help illustrate the actual situation with the 4 dining rooms: So the Beyond holds 3,260 passengers at full capacity. The four MDRs hold a total of 1,378 people (I added these up based on Celebrity's info they provide). With 2 seatings, that's 2,756 people who could eat dinner in the MDRs in a night. 3260 pax at full capacity - 2,756 max in MDRs = 504 left who would have to be eating in Luminae, Blu, OVC or a specialty restaurant. I think the reality is way more than 504 choose those options in a night. And, on top of that, most ships have not been sailing at max capacity unless it is a holiday or special sailing. So all that to say, scarcity of seats should NEVER be a problem in the MDRs, unless everyone chooses to eat at 6p, which is just not the case. People's preference for dinner times are staggered enough that this is a non-issue, which is I'm sure what the data has shown for X and why they are making changes - to allow people to have one less thing to worry about (i.e. dinner reservations) - and to just enjoy the beautiful ship 🙂 Its really ok to not have a reservation 🙂
  7. Thank you! Yes, the Reflection was 8 day vs the Ascent 7 day - but the price per day was very different. Really not liking the iteneraries they put up for the new Ascent ship! Roger that, on using a TA. We do too, and the Future Cruise desk transfers the booking to our TA, but we still get that extra OBC offered onboard for booking while sailing.
  8. The other thing I cant get my head around is why the Ascent and Beyond are so much cheaper in Spring 2025 compared to the older ships. Really want to try out the Reflection in Feb 2025 for an ABC islands cruise in the Caribbean, but that one is coming in at about $635/night compared to the $520/night on Ascent (both for SV, AI). Doesn't make any sense does it?
  9. We've been on the Apex, and have booked the Beyond twice (once for 2023 and once for 2024). I've been studiously studying prices for the last couple years for both ships. We found we enjoyed our Concierge Class cabin on Apex (sister to Beyond with almost identical layout), due to the higher level deck location (12), one flight down from the Solarium. However, the Aqua Class cabins were much higher priced and located on less desirable lower decks (9 & 10) and were nearly identical to regular balcony cabins. If it were me, I'd book a Sunset Veranda cabin on your sailing, if they are still available. But if Blu dining is a deal breaker for you, I'd still book a nicely located regular IV cabin and plan to use Move Up to move up to an Aqua Class cabin a few weeks prior to sailing. (Currently, for our Mar 19 2023 sailing, our move up offer for SV to Aqua class is only $200 PP, which is much cheaper than the ~ $1500 PP it was when we originally booked last year.
  10. Hoping this smart group can share their wisdom regarding Celebrity's current sale. We are planning to book a Celebrity Ascent cruise for 2025 while aboard our upcoming Beyond cruise that starts March 19, 2023 (in 7 weeks)! We've booked with Next Cruise before while on board, and appreciated the extra 200 OBC and $200 deposit. I'm wondering though about this current sale - the prices for the Ascent are ok, about on par with the very good rates we got for our 2021 Apex and upcoming 2022 Beyond cruise (around $520/day for SV & All Included). Its the current $250 OBC I am wondering about. I am wondering if folks think that might still be available come March 19 - or if the sale will truly end before then (it seems like they never end!). If we wait, and the $250 OBC is still around come March - we'd get an extra $200 on top of that for booking with Next Cruise while on board. But it could get worse. I know you guys don't have crystal balls, but you do have a ton more experience at seeing how these things cycle 🙂 Opinions? 1. Book now for $500 deposit and $250 OBC, or 2. Wait 7 weeks till onboard and get $200 deposit and maybe $450 OBC (or maybe get less!) (I do also have an AMEX offer right now to spend $500 with Celebrity and get a $175 credit, so the deposit now would actually only cost me $325! But I can take advantage of that regardless of which option we go with) Thanks! StellaTN
  11. We did a small group tour with celebrity in Cozumel last year on the Apex. It was a cooking class, visit to a tequila place, & tour of a ruin. There were only about 16 people in the group, we took a small trolly type vehicle around the island. Guide was great and it was wonderful to not be on a bus. Highly recommend the cooking class.
  12. Just upgraded my drink package last night (for Beyond 7 day sailing March 19) from classic to premium (1/13) with 5% CC discount here’s the exact cost. $132.93 package ($20/day - 5% x 7 days) $26.53 - 20% gratuity = $159.46. Screenshot attached. Hard to believe on the Apex last year I did the same thing for $84.
