Do you have to pay extra for hydro pool?

We took a little router on board with us and used that to connect to the internet and then connected our devices to the router. We found it quick enough for our purposes, and even uploaded some photos to FB and sent some by email. Sometimes we had 4 devices connected to the router synchronizing emails.
Was that connecting to ships Internet?

Don't know about beer but you can get prosecco by the glass and bottle. Can't remember how much now but I'm pretty sure the price is on the bar list on the ask P&O site

Plus a whirlpool bath

Looks like no butler but you get this Mini-suites have a magazine and newspaper selection, atlas and binoculars, plus fruit basket, mineral water, flowers, champagne and chocolates on arrival and daily canapés.

Wouldn't have been so bad if the daft twit hadn't tweeted a pic of the Royal Box Rules together with his invite. He was also offered a jacket and tie but turned them down and went home. I'm a huge f1 fan but really...

I tried playing mahjong while I was using the treadmill on QV as they have it built in. Don't recommend it [emoji15]

No probably about 1 as you have to be there 3 hours before and it's about half hour drive and everyone getting on coaches. My flight was 7 and left ship at 2.30

The 1/2 day trip gets you to the airport really early. Last nov people did trip, arrived at airport at 1 and didn't leave til 8pm. You can do Barbados tours directly outside with taxis. If you wait on board and have evening departure coach picks you up about 4 hours before iirc.

I've just googled those as didn't even know they existed. I took powder tablets last year. Put them in the drawer and made drawer smell nice too!!

Can't because I"m in PG. It's going to change anyway bacause menus reflect the passenger ethinicity. Right now we have 500+ Germans on board and I"m seeing several seafood entrees. So much so that I quipped the ship must be trawling some lines off her stern. :-)
Haha if David Lea is on the ship ask him about that on QE2!!

All of these bigger ships now seem to still be arriving and departing at the same times as smaller ships. The logistics and timing of refuelling and putting all stores on must be a nightmare and then getting everyone on the ships too. Amazing coordinators.

There's a new Hilton opening at the ageus bowl, has a view of cricket possibly no water? Or there's the Holiday inn http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowUserReviews-g186299-d214798-r122373067-Holiday_Inn_Southampton-Southampton_Hampshire_England.html

Are you able to dine in your cabin? I would imagine that's permitted?

The show on you tube was very good. I expect it'll be up there on the Cunard site now it's stopped being live. Amazing to see them do their turn and then side by side with the red arrows flying over

Sounds like someone got out of bed the wrong side. We don't all wear rose tinted glasses and it was good to actually see pictures of deterioration that many others on this forum have mentioned. A shame the needed dry dock schedule for later this year was cancelled.
I hope that the original posters did have some good times but they aren't the only ones that have had negative comments to tell us about.

I travelled on QV in 2013 and only got 1 each night, but I took them home and wrapped them up for little Santa pressies for my family!!!

I hope someone from the social media/communication dept is reading these. What a great little book of memories this would be. Fascinating!!

My one time on Cunard (hoping it wasn't the last) was on QV in Nov 13 on board for my first holiday in 7 years and celebrating my 48th birthday. I met so many lovely people, treated like a princess. I was invited to dine with the Captain (Inge) also to dine with the food and beverage manager David Lea and also invited to the senior crew cocktail party. I have no idea why I was chosen to attend but wow, an amazing experience and several things ticked off the bucket list!! The ship is beautiful and very comfortable, seemed to be lots of space and well, just absolutely wonderful!!!

I've done 1 on QV and 1 on Azura. Never again on Azura. QV was wonderful [emoji4]

Thank you everyone, I think I'm as sad as everyone else is that's on the ship. Will miss the updates. It's been a great trip [emoji5]️

In my very limited experience they don't seem to tend to put anything else on when main shows are on. I might be wrong but they didn't on cruise I was on last year. Lots of disappointed people when they couldn't get in to show.

I believe they film all of the shows anyway for the cruise dvd's so it shouldn't be too hard to do?!!
