We stayed in 2170 for 26 days and loved it. The art exhibit table is just outside the door but never heard a thing. We were directly under the shore excursion desk. No noise. Quick hop up to 3 for the outside deck and no looking for a chair. We loved it no noise that we noticed except I think our cabin was next to a storage cabin. Never noticed an elevator ding or many people. People are going up not down. I don't think you'll be unhappy. Matter of fact the room seemed larger more floor area due to the shape of the exterior of the ship

We love back to backs. Problem is you'll be so hooked. We did the Sunshine med and transatlantic in 2013. First 10 days very port intensive but the 16 day transatlantic so relaxing with a few ports. Doing it again October 2016 on the Vista. Last med and then the transatlantic. We have over 400 days so I keep looking for some fill ins. You'll love it since you have a chance to really explore, taste and do things not feeling rushed. Enjoy[emoji41]

Go to the carnival site and explore ships, dining. If there is a $ sign that is for fee.

Have you cancelled the whole cruise or are you now traveling solo? Just a thought.

Haven't seen mine either. Called my pvp told me he would be sure it's processed and to call my credit card co on Monday. We will see.

In 2013 we stayed at the Santa Chiara hotel. Get off the airport bus. Walk across the lot and there it is. We asked for a room in the main building and had a lovely room that opened up to the canal. They do have a web site with pictures.

We loved docking in Kahului. We got off the ship and went to the airport(few miles away) as we rented a car. There was a shuttle to car rental. End of first day we returned back and parked at the dock. We could see our car from the ship. Next morning took off for a few hours, returned car, shuttle back to ship. So easy. We've been to Maui twice and did this. So easy to get where you want to go.

I'm anxious for the Vista to begins its sailings. Anxious for the floods of comments and pictures. We're doing the last 2 cruises before it comes to NYC in a 4 j. Never had that room before

Last cruise we were on a lady was using the knee scooter for a broken ankle. I used an ankle scooter when I broke my ankle not on a cruise tho. This scooter was such a live saver for me. I loved it over crutches and chair.

John heald posted awhile ago 7 passengers missed the ship. Didn't pay attention to ships time. So costly when you've got to pay to catch the ship in another port.

This is exactly why we're taking the transatlantic. As far as airfare I think last time this happened Carnival reimburses a change fee not the total cost. This is why trip insurance is so important for cruising and flying. Hope it works out and they've left enough lead time for all the inaugural cruisers to make their date.

Love hearing this about the transatlantic cruise. We're doing a 4 j first time on the vista ta.

We loved it. Had booked for 16 family members. We had our own piece of heaven. Wasn't crowded a bit. Wifi for the nuts in the family. Good food and great beach and pool. Oh, and the drinks were flowing.

We're platinum. Like to get on early too but I know the ship isn't leaving without us. I pack extra patience, give most the benefit of the doubt, things happen. Just breathe all will be okay![emoji41]

For our last med/transatlantic cruise I used some of the larger command hooks inside the closets. This helped to hang bags on, night clothes, necklaces ... I'm such a neat freak that I need everything to have a place so the cabin steward can just neaten up without having to move things. We even have the junk drawer where all little stuff is thrown. I also use the command adhesive strips to post a sign on the door. When you leave pull the strip and no residue.

We stayed at the Santa Chiara in 2013. We loved being close to a little market near the vaparetto stop. We had a lovely room that had windows open to the canal. We loved the convenience

Oh lucky you. While on the Sunshine transatlantic cruise I went on the cabin crawl and we were able to see them. You'll love it. I don't remember to many details but told myself, someday...... Doing a 4j on the Vista.

No kiddie menu. The steakhouse is an experience. If your child can behave in this atmosphere fantastic, pay the price. We've gotten to the point that cruising has gotten to be a chance for people to try to make changes to everyone's experience. If your kids can handle 2 hr, quiet ambiance, low tone conversation, dinners then you'll be there and we won't even know it. Pay the full price for the experience it's special. Maybe you can ask carnival to build a family friendly steakhouse.

We got a tote bag on the paradise but this was part of our group booking promo.

I had a balcony room just below the lido. Under the eating ares and never heard a thing. It was so handy, run up for a burger, run down while it's still hot. We do have a lido room booked on the Vista. Can't wait to see how that goes.

2 and they're on the Vista med and transatlantic cruise. Had a 3rd but the cruise to nowhere was cancelled

I think all the masses now show up early. Some 10:30am. I can't believe how many people try to beat the masses only to have to sit with antsy kids in a warm terminal. I know everyone wants that first meal but it will still be there at 12:30. I think each terminal is different. Good luck
