We will be traveling with our then 15 month old. All other to and from transportation is taken care of and we are not needing to take a car seat. What would be the best and most affordable option to get from the terminal to FLL after the cruise? Is there a taxi service someone has used that has car seats? Or is there am affordable shuttle bus that we could take and she could ride on our lap?

This may have already been discussed, but I was just reading the RC board and saw a post about the incident on Oasis, and RC's new policy, they will no longer be asking for a physician's Fit to Travel letter. Do you think Princess will be doing the same?

Wondering where the best place would be to take a 15 month old on 7 mile beach? Would love some shade, facilities, food etc... Do you think a day pass to one of the resorts or beach clubs would be good? Looking for a more low key spot.

I see there are Carnival, NCL, & Crystal ships in port the same time as we will be on the Ruby. I know Princess and Carnival will dock at Mahogany Bay, will NCL and Crystal as well? Do you think MB will be super packed? Going with a then 15 month old and thinking this will be the best option for her. Thank you!

I think I have seen somewhere on this board that Princess allows you to walk off with your own luggage. How does this work, what time are you able to get off the ship, do you have to speak with your room steward or someone else? Thank you!

Surprising my dad with a last minute cruise to Alaska. Myself, my dad, and my 11 month old would be going. Are we ok with just our regular drivers licenses, do we need the enhanced WA state license, or our passports? The cruise does stop in Victoria.

Will the Ruby dock at Mahogany Bay or somewhere else?

Thoughts on staying at Mahogany or taking a taxi or excursion across the island to a beach in west bay or turquoise bay? We will have a 15 month old with us... Also hubby really loves snorkeling.

I have read through the comments on the actual port pages, but would really value your opinions too.

Rome is my most favorite city in the world! The hop on hop off buses are without a doubt the WORST way to see the city!!! Take the transfer from Princess and then walk and use the metro, you will see soooo much more and get exactly to where you want to be. The HOHO buses stop in inconvenient places so you still have to walk to all the sites. They are extremely hot and crowded as well! Happy travels in Rome! 😃
