We are on one of those Hawaii cruises. Received an e-mail explaining the situation. They will be moving all bookings to Long Beach by the middle of February. Carnival has to get all the logistics ironed out. Once that’s done  they most likely will again put what’s available back up for sale. Hope this helps.

I'll be watching out to book. Love Hawaii out of Long Beach.

I booked a cruise for September. I believe I booked it under a casino rate, and I believe the rate included drinks on us. Is there anyway to see what rate code the cruise was booked under and then to see what that rate code included?

It should be on your booking confirmation. If not, I'm sure a phone call to your TA or Carnival, depending on who you booked through, should answer this for you.

I don't have one full review on it. That's in the plans for next year but I need to eat there a couple more times before I can do it as good as I want it. For now if you scroll down to dinner time on these three blog entries, you'll get my JiJi's stuff.

When and where are these cruises?  Sounds like something we would like to do.

Royal Princess overnight in Cabo twice and a 4 day to San Diego and Ensenada in between.

    Starting on 2/6/21

    Out of San Pedro, CA

If you want an unsolicited opinion, the sushi on Carnival is surprisingly good. My wife and I went from let’s try it once to see what it’s like to getting it every time we cruised on Carnival.

I agree. They even offered to add avocado to my roll, so they will work with you.

Where would I look to see if our flight was a refundable one?  Would it be on the original paperwork for our flights?  Thanks.  Don

You would know it if they were booked as refundable flights because they are outrageously expensive.

Be happy to get an e-credit. They don't even have to do that. It's a courtesy on their part. They are extending the expiration dates on them too.

I will use the old cruise card and don't want the medallion. I know that will be available because of the liability of the medallion for people with pacemakers. Princess will always keep the old style but most people will use that medallion, very few of us old timers. I will NEVER carry my phone on the ship, only when I go into port for emergency.

Like button hit! I usually put my phone in the safe for my cruise. I do NOT want to carry it around.

My next cruise is going to be on Mardi Gras. I doubt it will be an issue in 2023, but I'm struggling to figure out how to try out all of the various dining venues on board and still actually take ANY excursion, when so many of them are open just for lunch.

I guess I've also been fortunate in buying Carnival excursions - I pay with gift cards that I bought at less than face value, and I've taken advantage of promotions when available, which makes the net cost highly competitive with anything I can get independently.

You'll just have to go on her more than once. LOL 🙂
