Personally I would never wear shorts when having dinner in a restaurant - hence I would never wear shorts for dinner in MRD.

Shorts will for me be acceptable in Windjammer.

    -  might be because I'm from Denmark🤵.

Yes folks from Florida where shorts all the time for dinner in a restaurant.

So you're sayin' that your "extra Tips" are real Tips, &  Pre-Paid Gratuties / Auto Gratuities are considered Expected... as in expected expenses...?

Yes I always pay my Auto Gratuities and then Tip on top of that.

Hi! New to RCL after three cruises on CCL. I was exploring the ship online and getting excited for our March trip when I noticed that in the Windjammer description it says "Fully covered shoes and shirts required"

Does that mean no flip flops? I'm fine with wearing a full swimsuit cover-up so the shirt thing - no problem!

Other than to dinner, flip flops is my go-to cruise/resort wear.

Please let me know as closed-toe shoes were not on the packing list. Thanks!

I would not pay attention to that, you will be fine.

    Hi, all!

First time RCCL cruiser here! I've previously cruised on Princess and Disney ships, and have utilized both the self-service laundry and the clothes lines in the shower. However, I know self-service laundry isn't available on Harmony of the Seas, and that had me wondering about if there were even clothes lines in the shower to dry laundry that I wash in the sink. Our family is booked in an Ultra-Spacious Oceanview w/ Balcony if that makes a difference to whether a clothes line might be available. I have 3 kids, so there will definitely be some laundry to do! Thanks for any insight you can give.

In the package from RC I got one baggage tag, do I print as many of these tags as needed for embarkation day?

What about the debarkation day, do they provide separate tags for that? Should I pack tape to put these on our bags?

I use a tag holder, you can purchase on Amazon.

    Happy New Year everyone!

my husband and I do two RCCL cruises a year with flights. Our old 28 inch Samsonites are too hard to pull now. I’ve been shopping for replacements. 25 inch is too small since we bring our snorkeling equipment, but the new 29 inch ones seems really big and wide. My priorities are:

    • easy to wheel
    • sturdy
    • fit under RCCL beds
    • Blue or gray so easier to find
    • airline size compliant

Would appreciate any suggestions you have!

My pick if money is not an object.
