  1. Yep, I saw the sample menu too, but I "trust" the Personalizer that wants me to pay hard dollars ;) I've found the menus are sometimes horribly out of date on other cruiselines. Let us know how much you get charged!
  2. Hi @IrieBajan54 - you should be able to go directly to the international transfer area and not be required to pass immigration or customs if you're in transit and your baggage is being routed all the way through Auckland. NB: You might be pressing it to leave airside and re-enter in such a short time, and there's nothing to see around the airport anyway (unless a quick hello with family or friends!) Cheers...
  3. It wouldn't surprise me if it was @GUT2407! It has gone up now, at AUD35.00 (still a bargain!) for the 15 Dec 2019 sailing at least...
  4. Don't they just repurpose part of the buffet as the CG? I remember having it on either the Sapphire (out of Singapore) or Diamond! (out of Japan)...
  5. Hi Penny I'm a pretty fit guy, and I personally think better to go downhill than uphill. It is quite steep in some sections. Better to enjoy a nice meander down, than a huff-and-puff up 😉 ps: The garden is ABSOLUTELY worth a visit - my wife and I really enjoyed the diversity of the plants!
  6. If you get a chance, check out the Green Tea Cake in the buffet! They only had it once on our 16-day cruise on the Diamond, and it was ABDOLUTELY DELICIOUS! A special "Princess moment" for my wife came of this. We asked about the cake towards the end of the cruise as we'd not seen it onboard since the first time. She absolutely loved it. The chef asked for our room number and said he'd get back to us. Well, an individual size portion arrived the next day! We were absolutely blown away.
  7. Slightly different question, but a little related - that I hope someone could answer. We are embarking on Majestic NZ cruise on 15 December - currently 170 days from sailing. The cruise personaliser is showing very few options for drinks packages (only the deluxe beverage deal), only one "internet" package (10 minute TELEPHONE CALLS - not actually internet!), nothing for spa treatments etc. It seems that (at a cursory glance) only shore excursions are listed / bookable. When (or even if?!) will we start seeing more appear? It's been a good couple of years since our last Princess cruise - so totally cannot remember LOL TIA!
  8. Well not quite. The Conditions of carriage DO say "unless expressly authorized..." So the OP may be able to get permission.
  9. Hi-res video, looks like posted by a crew member...
  10. And just when "we thought it was safe to go back into the water" hehehe. Our 30th March 2019 Ovation of the Seas sailing! https://eroticadulttravel.com/event/adult-travel-lifestyle-group-cruise-from-sydney-australia/?fbclid=IwAR1PG_4cEiQ2QUhVH8tUvsglZ_yEfM-1a0tgOKzF-ePQR-6xbe3f7rlUYAc There has been quite a lot of mirth around this, on the other large social networking site groups setup for this date which I've subscribed too. All good - to each their own 🙂 🙂 I'm just telling my wife to avoid anything with pineapples 😉
  11. You're welcome everyone! The least I could do to pay back/forward all the great info I get here on CC.
  12. Hi everyone I'll have time to write a separate review soon, but in the meantime I have scanned the Daily Planners (including specials) and any Embarkation and Disembarkation guides. Hopefully it will benefit folks 🙂 FYI - it was an Eastern, followed by Western Caribbean itinerary, with departure from Miami of course. WARNING: I understand wasn't quite the typical itinerary - for example we only arrived in San Juan at 5.00pm. However it should give people a feel of the schedule, ports, and activities. Cheers... 13. Onboard at the moment. The patient and one other were medvac'd off by the US Coastguard about 1 hour ago. Absolutely amazing piece of flying by the flight crew - the wind was quite strong today. The Captain has indicated we will be 2 hours late into Ochos Rios, but will be staying an extra hout. Hoping the sick passenger recovers quickly. About to go to Cruise Critic Meet and Greet, so may no more after.
