Martinis also has a drink (I don't remember the name of it) but it's a chocolate type martini, and I LOVE it. The pina coladas on the ship vary in their taste, but I've found some I really like. Unfortunately for me, I can only have them occasionally, so I spend a lot of time being envious of those are drinking these.
I drink them all the time but make sure they are virgin Pina Colada...YUM

The wannabe police come in all flavors, drink policy, dress codes, deck chairs, service dogs, etc. You'll always find someone who needs to control other people's behavior.
How did anyone know it was vodka? Did you taste it?
No he was with my group and bragged to me about how much money he saves..and he does it all the time..

I've cruised with English John before, I think his last name is Clelford, or something like that. I do hope he's done at the end of this cruise. I'd almost rather have Dottie. When we last cruised with him he had a tendency to have the speaker system turned up so loud it would literally knock you out of your seat when he did the announcements.
Oddly enough I have never, in 15 years of cruising on Oceania, not seen the CD run the daily Trivia team games. Including when I cruised with him before. I'm wondering if maybe he might have something and not be able to interact up close with the public.
Unfortunately Orv he is staying on..I will try and fix things...with the Captain Loud speakers are a no no

The worst breaking of the rules I have seen is someone that brings vodka in a water bottle to dinner so they dont have to buy a drink,,VERY tacky in my opinion..

There's a reason why those countries now have it rolled in to the price. They know exactly who are removing the tips at Guest Services. This will put an end to that. FWIW, anytime I'm in the UK I honor their method and don't tip anyone.

Interesting discussion, but the OP has already disengaged, saying they are going to cruise on Celebrity.
True and in my opinion for the kids a great choice..

Assuming you do go on Oceania have you narrowed down a ship, itinerary, and room category? Most rooms are not really set up for multiple occupancy.
We have 6 great grandchildren from 2 to 12 and we travel on Oceania 4 or 4 times a year..BUT when we take the kids we are on NCL and they love it..I personally would not take kids on O....

I believe we will see changes to the current loyalty program be rolled out prior to next month’s general release of new itineraries for 25-26. Time will tell.
You wont...from everything I have heard..!!

You can’t worry about things that you have no say. It is what it is.
Expiring loyalty points can go 2 ways. It might encourage booking. It can also push people away.
The people who develop loyalty programs don’t often see how changes will affect people. There is no change coming relax..

Hi Jancruz! A few weeks back there was a rumor of a creperie and gelato place being added to one of the ships (Vista maybe?). Has Oceania released any information about this? I love crepes and my spouse is a huge gelato fan, so these would be great news if true. My biggest dilemma will be sweet or savory...such a trial. 🙂It is true - we’re adding it to Allura where the current library is. We glossed over it when we announced her inaugural season but haven’t made a big deal about it yet. Waiting for menus and images. But it’s out thereJancruz1

Our hope is there is some interest from O management to eliminate Embers and add Jacques to upcoming Allura…our 2nd wish would be to see la Reserve as part of Allura…
It may be a long shot, but we can dream.
It will never happen and the name of the restaurant is Ember...NO S

While I've not used any of the following guides yet, I've booked with all of them for 11/24. They are all highly rated and recommended...
Dubrovnik - toursbylocals.com/Marijana S.
Valletta - maltatours.com/Chris - he and his wife, Joan, maltatourguide.com, operate separately. She's very popular (and well known to others on CC). She was fully booked for our date, so I booked with Chris.
Hope this helps.
Thanks so much it helps a lot!!
