hi everyone

we are off in 15 days on the anthem and i was wondering if anyone knows

1. what time can we drop our bags into southampton port?

2. if we drop our bags in can we go back into southampton before check in?

there is quite a stink about this on the facegroup anthem page too!

my mum complained about and was told tough - its not happening on anthem in the uk.

We are travelling with 7 & 9 year olds who were looking forward to seeing the characters but hey we will still enjoy our cruise but it is really disappointing :(

my partner is fussy eater and on the indy this year they had a small menu on the top right of the MDR menu that had simple food such as tomato pasta, chicken, steak and fish - do we know if this will be available at least in the Grande?

hi everyone

have a couple of questions about our rooms that we have booked

so my grandparents are in a disabled access room and my sister who is 32 is in with them - will be be in a sofa bed? she is not amused about the possibility she may well have to be.

Also i have a balcony room and there are 2 adults and 2 children in one but the room says it has a double bed and one pull out sofa - are the kids expected to share the same pull out bed?

My daughter uses Humalog which is a very common insulin. We get 3 months of insulin at a time and the supply is kept in the fridge. But the bottle she's actually using is not refrigerated during the 2 weeks or so it's being used. The only precaution needed with that bottle and the insulin in her pump is that it's not sujected to very hot temps for too long.

 

 

 

Bring an extra bottle of insulin and plenty of sets for the pump or syringes. I've been burned in the past when my daughter's diabetes kit was thrown away by somebody that wanted my table in the windjammer.

My gran is on humalog but each cartridge only lasts her 2.5 days

I know im not away on the anthem till next june but my grandmother is coming and she is diabetic and her insulin needs to be stored in a fridge - i know there is mini fridges in the room but my experience is that they are not too cool at all:rolleyes:

so can we request a cold fridge? or will be requesting a bucket of ice everynight?

I am not a long term cruiser but was on the Indy this year and lived the mdr as did our 6&8 year old and we have booked for anthem next year and as excited as we are - not sure how it's going to be without the mdr [emoji20]

yeah the booking system and cruise planner is poor :(

im really excited about all of this and i like that they have shown us more inside of the ship!

he also said the ripcord ifly will be free too!

we are going from southampton and if like this year it was chilly up on the pool decks - so a more enclosed pool area would be fantastic!

even a brief description would be great of the cabin categories - and of course the more to come!
