  1. ok

so as some people know i was planning on the anthem for 2015 from Southampton - getting offered obstructed deluxe balcony for £5005 for 3 people - 20th june 14 nights - with the drinks inc etc

now my mums other half is not willing to go more than £4000

we are getting offered the explorer of the seas on the 17th June for £3500 in an outside room with all offers such as drinks available for 12 nights

what would you opt for? honest opinions please? we are all at war lol

i keep saying that this year we paid £3200 for the indy (14nights), 989 drinks package, and 450 flights which added together isnt much less at all for the anthem.

    help please

  2. hi

we have been offered a fab price for next year on the anthem of the seas from Southampton

now i have been offered a great price on a balcony but has obstructed views and upon further inspection it says it is because of the top of the life rafts - does anyone know or have previous experience of how much obstruction it would be?

    Thanks

  3. hi

we were on the Indy back in june and we absolutely loved it but..... we sailed from southampton and the first 2 days were cold and also one day coming home. I dont mind too much but the rest of my party and the 2 girls did not like it as they couldnt use the pools (yes it was that cold!).

So our plan for next year is a cruise in july 3rd or 15th from barcalona - but if we were to leave from Southampton again would it still be cold out on deck heading round by Portugal?

whoever knew it was so hard to book a cruise lol but in fairness we were all set for florida next year before we went and now its cancelled and only a cruise will do lol :D

    thanks in advance

  4. We are on our cruise just now - we all have the premium package and it's been worth it for us - a couple of light cocktails through the day and some wine at night - it's very easy to reach the $55 dollars - and we have never at any point been drunk - maybe slightly tipsy once

  5. Hey another question :-)

We are off on Saturday (too excited!!!)

Now we are trying to figure out our money - do we need dollars, euros and pounds? I will be tipping the staff in pounds as I heard that's what they like - do we need dollars to spend on board and then euros when at the ports??

    Thanks for any advice x

  6. I have to say I only found cruising about 3 years ago. Holidays for us as a family had always been, well, disappointing or very expensive. We got to,the stage where we could never decide where to to (DD 12 at the time). We had done all inclusives, kids type European holidays, camping, spent a fortune on stuff like skiing (and I hate skiing).

Then my mom went on a cruise with her friend around the med, and said we should try it.

Since then we haven't even considered a different type of holiday. We are hooked. I don't like long flying much (will of course do it but don't enjoy it) so going from the UK means my holiday starts earlier.

We find it cheaper, less stressful, and the wonders of the sea are amazing. Also our DD is growing up with fab memories as she meets all these people (and keeps in touch with mates she meets through Facebook etc).

For us, we won't go back. My bucket list is full of cruises, I want to go round the world (at a later date of course).

    Thanks to my mom!!

    Have a fabulous time x

Thank you - we re all getting very excited now
