I just had issues loading a $500 egift card (I received as a present) into Cruise Cash.  Read the limit per cruise is $500, but the system kept saying I was over my limit although I had not “purchased” any Cruise Cash.  So called Fun Shops and they could not figure it out, so they are sending me over to some other department to try and resolve. So, I thought maybe it is because we are getting $150 credit from TA.  So, I just was able to process only up to $350 and any incremental more shows I am over the limit.  Maybe this next department can help, but the online system does seem to aggregate the OBC and Cruise Cash as one.  To avoid any hassles, I may just use the remaining $150 for steak house dinner and cruise bar cash.  I’m on a 15 day cruise, so we will definitely be able to use the funds. Our gratuities alone will total about $480, so the $500 in cruise cash and obc should cover that, assuming the OBC can be used for gratuities.

No need to buy cruise cash, just wait until you are onboard and have the gift card applied, all you will need is the # and pin. You can save a pdf of the card to your phone, or add it to google or apple wallet

Thanks, I actually don't have cards just e-card print out. So guest services it is.

I've had no problems using the kiosk, so try, then if no luck go to guest services. If you dont want to apply the full value on the card, then you must go to guest services

I’m thinking about doing the same thing (cancel and rebook at lower price). When they issue the refund, is it OBC, or does it go back to your bank/credit card? If it goes back to my bank account (I used a debit card) I’m concerned it may take a week to post to my bank and the price may be higher than when I first booked by then.

Most folks doing a cancel/rebook do not wait to receive the refund to rebook for that reason. If you can't repurchase now, you have to decide if the savings are worth taking the chance of another price change

The CCL shareholder's annual report says mail, fax, or email.

Email: shareholders@carnival.com.  I submitted my request via email not long ago and it was not a problem.

Yes, but a few weeks ago CCL stated that they will no longer process emailed requests and are now requiring the use of the Stockperks app, either by giving Stockperks access to your brokerage account, or by uploading proof of ownership

My AARP cards show up in my email and says Expiration: Does not expire IMG_4411.thumb.jpeg.1ba27bc90eed1f00ce0c54d5b4855bf4.jpeg

The problem krissyj89 is having isn't with the card itself-

the link in the e-mail to access the card is no longer working and does expire

Apparently the card # and pin was not written down or saved as a pdf or to a wallet. I'm sure AARP can reactivate or create a new link

Did anyone know that gift card links expire? Because I didn't! 😭 I bought a gift card in June, it still had $140 left on it. I went to go use it to buy something for my upcoming cruise and the link is expired! Does anyone know who I can contact? How would I even try getting the card number? I feel so dumb for not saving it

Check your downloads folder for the pdf file of the gift card that would have been generated when you used it last (clicked the link to access the gift card) it may have been saved by your computer

Most of the shows seem to be pretty packed but Most Magnificent Circus and Celestial Strings were worst.  Most Magnificent Circus was performed on two different days on our recent sailing so while we missed both performances on the first day, we were able to catch it on the second day.

Most magnificent circus (in my opinion) wasnt worth the hype and we almost left.

Thanks for the heads up.  I just checked and added the offer (which expires on 12/31/23) to my card.  We board our RCI Odyssey of the seas cruise in 16 days and return on 12/31/23.  I will use it as my onboard payment method for our cabins.

Double check the fine print on the terms, I don't have this one,  but if i recall correctly others I've had in the past excluded on board spend

I usually print them, label them with the cruise they were used on, file them, and then throw them away after the cruise. You are right, it would be better to have them in the wallet than to click the link at the kiosk. Thanks!

saves some paper too-you can also print to pdf, and then same them in a separate folder for each cruise

I will be on the Serenade of the Seas next week, then one night in a hotel before getting on the Vista. I am taking my casino “profit” from my last cruise onto the Serenade, and hoping to have money from the Serenade to use on the Vista. If not, I will order e-gift cards from AARP while I am on the ship and use the kiosk to input the numbers from the AARP email on my phone. It would prevent keeping track of unused gift cards in the case of purchasing in advance and then not needing them.

the number in the e-mail from AARP is not the gift card #, you need to click a link to get the card, then save the card to  your phone wallet-

I always save the e-mails just in case as well

90% of my Carnival spending is done with gift cards. I log them all on a spreadsheet, which is password protected. The only thing you must keep in mind is that once a gift card is purchased, that money is Carnival's forever. Any refunds come in the form of a gift card. Fine with me. It makes planning and paying for my Carnival cruises so easy.

Yep, only payment I've ever made to Carnival not using a gift card was when I had a credit card offer for cash back that was more than the discount/cash back for purchase of the card

I know this has been explained a few times, but how difficult is it to have gift card applied as OBC?  Does this have to be done at customer service, or kiosk onboard, or can it be done ahead of time on the website?

Very easy to do onboard at the kiosk. You can also purchase cruise cash beforehand on the website, but you would be limited to $500. I just added cards as needed with the kiosk. I bought $100 cards and added a few at a time as needed.

    Hello all

i am from Canada and would love to take advantage of these gift cards. Are they tied to the purchaser or could I have a friend buy them for.

I know enough people in the US and I’m all about saving money.

    happy cruising

For the discounted ones, they need to be putchased by an AARP member, and they are e-cards, can be used as long as you have the valid numbers and pin.

I uploaded a pdf immediately after getting the response about the connection issue.  Waiting to see if that works.  However, I would like to see the app work in the correct manner.  If Stockperks is supposed to provide a service it needs to be a working service!

True, but the fault may not lie with Stockperks.

You broker needs to allow the app to login to its website. I am not going to even try, I dont want to give anyone direct login  access. I'll just upload my statement.

I received the following email from Princess:
Thank you for your request for an onboard credit as part of the Carnival Corp & plc. Shareholder Benefit Program.

Carnival Corp is implementing a more automated onboard credit request process in partnership with Stockperks for thing booking.

Please go to www.stockperks.com/carnivalcorp  for all details about the program and how to apply for your onboard credit via the Stockperks app.

I downloaded the Stockperks app, completed all the information requested and received the following message:
    "Couldn't connect to your institution"

I sent a message to Princess and to Stockperks asking for advice...  Waiting for a response!

Not all brokers can be accessed directly through the app (plaid is the vendor/service used) you can also upload a pdf of your statement, same as we used to fax or email.
