If Celebrity is smart enough to attract customers.
They should have a lounge specially for Elites+ and Zeniths.

Yes! I booked a cruise with X using FCC. I’m only through with X until they change some of their policies. Current prices make luxury lines look better.
Try the move up program you may like Celebrity.

I was aboard that cruise and I didn’t find anyone felt “abandoned and let down”. Crystal gave us the full program even on the additional day. Many expressed concern for the dedicated crew and were hopeful that their favorite line would return.
Just curious don't know you received the update of Captain Club from Andrea Shey since you no more with Celebrity.

Interesting so many restricted area.
-
Elite breakfast you may order Mimosa, Bloody Mary for free and also special coffee that you get from Al Bacio.
-
The Elite breakfast event recently moved from Tuscan to Bistro on 5 across the Cafe Al bacio on Apex.

I am so happy they have this pacific sailing so I can use this as a round the world trip.
I have done this 2 times before the pandemic.
-

Yes, it bothers me. Paying a premium for a crowded situation is not what I anticipated.
Edge class ship is very well designed in Luminae and the sundeck
If you sit by the window of the table for 2 is always crowded.
If you sit by the wall next to the kitchen is more spacious and won’t feel crowded.Sundeck is also divided to 2 sections. One by the tubs is always crowded and the other side is always empty
For the retreat lounge the open air balcony is always empty.
This is base on my previous cruises experience on Apex.

Would you know recommend MedJet in addition to allianz?
MetJet cover what ever corner of the world you will be.
Its for transportation only.

Thankfully we had multiple layers of travel insurance thru our employer and our credit card.
The sticky part about air ambulance is in the wording. Most policies will state that they will ambulance you to the "nearest medical facility". Ideally, we would've liked to have an air ambulance back to Canada or at least the US, instead of Dominican Republic.
The Apex Senior Doctor did recommend a third party air ambulance insurance company called MedJet which will evacuate you to any medical facility in any country of your choice. It's the evac company he enrolled in so that's a strong endorsement.
I never leave home without MetJet.I been with them almost ten years now.
Have used them before.

Be sure to utilize the Retreat Lounge during the social hours in the evening especially on evening chic night and let or make sure that the photographers take your picture with the officers. It is also nice time to meet the officers.
Don’t ask why just do it. I am sure you will thank me later for this tip.
For those that know don’t tell them why. Although I am sure that
they can figure it out.
Happy cruising. 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅
I think the officers no more come to visit retreat because of the pandemic.
This event was pre pandemic.

I guess we were lucky on various cruises, when we did get our laundry back the next day a few times….after being picked up early. But it does stipulate 2 days or so.

Yes they usually deliver the next day.I always not to put the sign at the door so they can access to the room if I ever take an afternoon nap.
I usually sent in before the chic night or 2nd. day after so they don't need to rush for my laundry.
They usually come back in the hangers if its dry clean.

I would love to know the experiences on Apex about Omicron.
Would those on board please post?
-
Sorry my misunderstanding
-
Thats risky to passengers on either lines
They just let the virus move freely.

First night is like a mad house.
They are now offering suite guests 30% off the first night to specialty restaurant.
There are more social distancing if you request to sit on the table for 4 against the wall.
-
Is it worth it? As others say, it's up to you.
I have 50+ on Celebrity 1 on NCL and 2 on RCCL.
Celebrity ships is like my 2nd.home.
I got free WIFI,Premium drink package and free Laundry every time I cruise on Celebrity.
I sometimes get free specialty dinner one night on my sailing.
-
There is nothing to dislike Edge class ships. On one of my cruise on Apex.
The ship manufactural did sent a team of people on board to find out what need to improve on future Edge class ships.
There will be a nice Moroccan sunset bar to replace the present one.
That will be a plus and I believe a lot of people will enjoy the sail away party there like the Solstice class ships.

We're in an S3 suite next week on the Apex. We have a 4 night speciality dining package. I'd prefer the 3 night but it's sold out. The hubby wants me to cancel because he thinks the Luminae is good so why book the speciality restaurants too. I like to try it all. I'm paying with OBC from the TA so I think I should keep it.
You make the right choice dining at the specialty restaurants during this pandemic world to avoid crowding in the Luminae restaurant especially on the first nigh and the chic nights.
If you have premium packages the sommelier will pair the wine with your meals.
