Was just about to venture into the world of insides this week with a very very last minute guarantee inside on the Epic at a price so low it would be rude not to take it.

Been checking the edocs every day to watch for the cabin number to appear and today its appeared(3 days to sailaway) Balcony Mini Suite. :D

Just book from your cabin on the tv as soon as you get in the room and before you unpack.. Seems to happen a lot as they keep rescheduling shows or adding and moving things out of the clubs if they are permanently overcrowded.

Best bet is to carry on to Montreal... Better flight options

The Hair dryers were fine though I recommend a mains extension.. The holder was so far from the outlet in our cabin you had to get in some strange positions to use it :rolleyes: or sit on the floor.

That 2 hours notice that appears on every description is more a "worse case" cover. In general they will start the process very quickly. Especially as usually the next Cruise will be loading by noon ish

I find kids are only a problem during school holiday times.. Then I agree they can be a pain; there's too many and some parents seem to think its an excuse to leave them to do what they want as long as they don't bother them!

Simple solution use google and find out when to go and avoid school holiday times.

some things you pre book - basically cirque and burn (and pricislla one assumes..)... I'll let my last review speak re these.

Other things you can book onboard to get guaranteed admission using your cabin tv (do it first day for the week/fortnight etc as everyone soon catches on) or the app..

Other things are just turn up (but if its Beatles do it early)

It does look like it is Fat Cats/ Cavern. Bit of a weird set up for the sofas though given that there was already not a lot of space for the Beatles shows in there.

As said they showed the Rugby world cup in Spice H2O and the atrium..

However I'm not sure if the Euro games will get the same treatment as its not International - at a guess I would say there's a v good chance though as its a med cruise.

The airports a quick hop by taxi and there are hundreds available (unlike Southampton who seem to have 10!!).

But as said a zillion times before on these boards.. Book a cruise when you are happy with the price - if you are don't look at the price again (it WILL change up or down).

If you want to book at the lowest price 55 days out and less is the magic number but you roll the bones as to wether you will get the floor ,cabin or class you want.

Theres no real issue - and has been said plenty of times before just ring up NCL an ask if they can offer you any deal or cancel and rebook (much easier if your dealing direct)

Hopefully nothing :rolleyes: if it means the sail away sees them disappear finally .... Seriously though there's still a few choices in the make up cabin bit of 'My NCL' re deco ; but as LrgPizza says .. You would do much better having a word with the steward and doing it yourself

Weirdly I found people dressed better for Cagneys and Bistro on the last Epic cruise than they did for the last formal night we had on HAL..

BUT it doesn't matter .. dress how you want (observing the dress code for some restaurants).. Its freestyle and it works :)

Aperitif - Long Campari and Soda a little ice and a slice of orange (NOT LEMON) .. Have to say they got this right on every occasion but 1 on the EPIC last time without being prompted.

Beer - Glad to see they now serve Blue Moon (including the summer variant) - Smooth heaven in a bottle and the server often sings as he brings it :rolleyes:

Im confused..If you pre bought the UBP in the UK you already paid the tax ( I believe if you buy it pre cruise through the US site its different)..

We had no charges to pay for drinks between Barcelona and Southampton.. It does show the tax on the receipts but it all gets wiped.

Even though the menus at the specialty restaurants do not change, there are enough options that you could eat at the same one several nights and not have to repeat any of your choices unless you wanted to.

You can buy it for the epic pre cruise simply by logging into MY NCL .

Are you talking about the Debit card hold here rather than the CC hold.

I am having the same problem - makes me a little nervous since we have a cruise booked for this coming January!

It works but you have to use the drop down for show by dates.. for some reason it wont show them from the main page (Insidecabins correct as well, there are some bargains to be had on the UK site)

Only when the ship in in US waters. Once you are outside of that there is no US tax added.

Thats not really relevent, they treat the VAT the same.. so the tax is always added after. Makes sense really or they would need several menus
