  1. Was hoping for a refund but will be happy with credit. We really like RC so would have no hesitation booking with them again. Whenever that will be.
  2. I have a similar problem, but my cruise on Serenade is 21st November with final payment due tomorrow. I have paid a NRD of $400. You & me both know that cruise will not take place & that's because the Aust Govt says so. But, well, when I called RC they were all upbeat about the cruise still going ahead. Oh dear. It appears RC are hanging out as long as possible to cancel existing bookings. Their website has the 1st cruise out of Sydney on 17th Dec. Go figure.
  3. Good news for you. So, if you got yours 120 days post cruise that means my ROBC must be coming soon, I'm 107 days out.😀
  4. My 1st cruise was on the Fedor Shalyapin was as a teenager with my Mum & Grandmother. I'd say it was about 1977-78 or so. What a blast from the past. We left from Circular Quay with all the fanfare & streamers. Visitors were allowed on-board prior to sailing. My only recollection of ports visited was Noumea. The wait staff in the dining room were all female & Russian. Set, formal dining but I can't remember what the food was like. Not that I cared, I was so excited to be on a cruise, meeting new friends & drinking without my Mum knowing. Yep, used to go to bed & then sneak
  5. The same email I sent to Customer Relations on 4th May was also sent to a Princess Cruise Holiday Planner asking for any assistance they could offer. She replied quite promptly to inform me that the ROBC from my 25th January cruise was refunded on 6th May & I should receive it shortly. We did not book this cruise with the CHP but she has contacted me previously offering help in bookings or with existing bookings etc. Thought it was worth seeing if she could help. So, we will wait & see when refund arrives. I will keep you informed.
  6. I had heard it may take up to 8 weeks, under normal circumstances of course, just need to be a bit more patient. I guess it's caught up with all the other refunds. Would have loved to have seen the story on a Current Affair. I'm sure I would have had a few not too polite comments for those silly people. We are also waiting for a refund on a cancelled cruise with P&O that I know will take over the 8 weeks stated. 🙁
  7. Still waiting for ROBC from a Princess cruise we disembarked in Melbourne on 30th January 2020. Luckily it's a small amount but still, it's getting a bit ridiculous. My case was escalated on 1st April & 24th April & still waiting for the promised contact from a Princess Rep. We have been very patient. Does anyone have any recommendations on who I should contact? I have asked to be speak to someone from the Solution Dept but being told they cannot transfer me. 🙄 Any help from the friendly folk on this board would be appreciated.🙂

  10. Yep, having a script filled tomorrow. The meds for Rheumatoid Arthritis are NOT the ones I want to run short on.😲
  11. I also have an auto immune disease & use the same medication you mentioned. This drug is very multi purpose.
  12. My best tip is to phone Qantas about 11pm. Worked for me. Call answered within 5 mins. Good luck.🙂
  13. Can't even get onto Princess website. They are "experiencing problems". Probably too many Aussies trying to book.😟
