Last August, Regent supplied a very nice tour before going to the airport. We were not informed of this option until a few days before the end of the cruise. I had hired a private guide who I subsequently canceled. We did have a somewhat long wait at the airport, but the lounge was quite adequate. Hope that helps.

Hello everyone!
I just happened to look at our reservation to see when our final payment was due and noticed the quote I’ve used as a title. Beyond that all it says is TBA. This is the Golden Circle cruise on Splendor, July 5-15. Can anybody enlighten me as to what this means? Thanks,
Kim
Coming back to JAX from Reykjavik last August, we had a forced overnight in Newark. Be thankful yours is in Reykjavik🤣 Regent put us at Marriott Courtyard. Not a fabulous way to end a cruise.

For our Southampton to Reykjavik cruise in August, we were at the Landmark in London. Lovely hotel!

We have sailed the PG many times. Every itinerary including Fiji. Our most recent was after Ponant took them over. Same wonderful crew. Same lovely small ship. Wonderful Gauguins and Gauguines. Absolutely recommend them. However we always take the air credit, so can't comment on that aspect. We are very frequent Regent cruisers, so absolutely nothing against them.

Gilly- Looking forward to meeting you this evening. We did a b2b in January. It is a different feeling, but wonderful to know you have more pampering to come.

Really easy to book 18 excursions online in 15 minutes. Only hiccup was tour in Busan showed conflict when none existed so I will call tomorrow. No tours for two days in Tokyo (online) but we are going to head out on our own anyway.
I also thought the Tokyo excursions weren't there, but they are at the very beginning of the list. The dates are correct and we have them booked!

This is not new. It was definitely there in 2020.

We also were on this cruise, but started in Auckland. You summed everything up perfectly! The excursions and tendering were the absolute worst we have ever encountered. Regent never used to fill the buses to capacity. I never remember them sending numerous buses to the same location at the same time. And the descriptions of the tours were not particularly accurate. The staff, except for destination services, made up for so many of these shortcomings with their friendly attentiveness. They truly made us feel special.

Wonderful news! We have been with Andy and Tammy twice. They are lovely. Looking forward to seeing them again.

Wow! Sunday brunch is wonderful. Reminiscent of Sunday brunch at the Ritz Carlton in Buckhead, Atlanta. The photos will speak for themselves…
Looks even more expansive than what I remember at the Ritz!! In our many, many days on Regent, we have never had the pleasure of a Sunday at sea. And 32 days in January is no exception, unfortunately. I guess I need to pick my itineraries more carefully🤣
Love your reports!!! Keep 'em coming!

I am salivating on every word of your report, but also becoming more and more anxious about our decision to try Seabourn. We board in Montreal on October 4😬

received the test kit on Thursday. Appointment for test was 8:15 Monday. It went off like a charm, really very easy, and we had our negative results immediately.
Did you use your phone for the test or did you bring a computer? We have the same scenario in a couple of weeks and I don't plan to even bring my i-pad! I have researched several testing sites around Montreal. That's another option.
Thanks for all of your info.

Oh, no!!! Our hotels are a block from each other so I’ll scout the neighborhood for someplace good. Worse comes to worse we’ve got the hotels.
Any chance your initials are LL???
Hugs, Jodi
We are also on this cruise. Flying in Sunday. We have a roll call for this cruise. Please check it out!!

With negative Covid tests in hand, we are ready to board our first Seabourn ship tomorrow. We had a great flight to beautiful but very warm Barcelona and are enjoying El Palace tonight before embarkation tomorrow. The hotel has several food venues including the rooftop garden, beautiful with very good food.
The burrata was as good as I’ve had and the vinaigrette was perfect.
We are frequent Regent cruisers and we also love Oceania. We were drawn to this itinerary and hope to have a third favorite soon. We love good food and wine, experiencing new cultures, and exploring new places. Please feel free to join in!
We are also frequent Regent and Oceania cruisers who are embarking on the Quest in October for our first Seabourn cruise. Will follow your posts with great interest.

Where does Seabourn dock when embarking or disembarking in New York City? I'm trying to figure out the most convenient airport for flying out from there. JFK, LaGuardia, and Newark N.J. are all options for direct flights out.
Thanks, Jackie
I believe we are on the same cruise in October. We will be docking at the Manhattan terminal. We are flying our of JFK. We came in through Newark from Europe in May. An absolute nightmare!!! Would avoid that airport at all cost!

We will be in Halifax next Monday. We are renting a car and driving down the coast. We plan to visit Peggy's Cove, Oak Island, Mahone Bay, and Lunenburg.
Which rental agency did you used? Were you happy with them? How close to the pier was the pickup/drop off? We are overnight in October so thinking of renting a car.

Therein lies the problem. If Blacklane doesn't serve your area (it doesn't ours), then this perk becomes a bit useless.
