When you complete the online check-in you have to choose a boarding time. It is a 30 minute time window for you to arrive to board the ship so they can attempt to control capacity, lines, etc. I believe from that time they will assign you a boarding group.
We try to get on pretty early. I usually choose 11am boarding group so we can just get on the ship and start our vacation.

How much do you have to spend in the casino to get these offers?
Hard question to answer. I have gotten two or three casino offers in the past that I have never been able to use. Candidly none of those offers came with any free play, though.
I spend a grand total of about 90-120 minutes on an entire week long trip. I play $10 hands of blackjack and that's all I do. Sometimes I win and sometimes I don't.

Magic is my favorite. Words of wisdom that the comedy shows will fill up fast. Alchemy bar is great and Guys BBQ/Smokehouse is a pretty nice lunch treat. Ocean plaza is a lot of fun when they have live music and I can't get enough accoustic and karaoke at Red Frog Pub.

I have contacted my PVP 4 times in the last 4 weeks. Each for a price reduction. Spring break cruise we are up to $900 OBC. Turned that into cheers, bubbles and daily service fees being paid!

No, because it's only a Carnival-built pier -- not one of Carnival's private island destinations.
What I figured but that's really unfortunate.

Is the Mahogany Bay Cruise Terminal Carnival Only?
I'm wondering if the answer is yes can unvaccinated passengers freely use the beach area without purchasing a "bubble" tour.

Were on the first Magic sailing back in August of last year, rooms ready, ship cleaned and
ready for us, and had plenty of drinks available, so you should be good.
Same. Can confirm.

Don't want to be rude but how in the world did you get $3000 obc? I would struggle, hard, to spend that much. I know it's possible but seems like more of a burden to try to. I'd do the drink package, specialty dining options, get a bunch of pictures, donate a bunch to St. Jude and do what some others have said. Buy something nice from the shops, buy a camera (or 2). You can always sell the camera for probably close to retail price when you are home, anyways.

Sailing Carnival Vista. Getting opinions on a 1pm departing flight from Hobby after we debark. I think we will be fine but others in my group are more anxious.

Great! And, it doesn't count against your 15?
Yours will, obviously but the round should not.

Free bottle of wine, yes.

Completely understand. Still some businesses are non-cash - at least where I live, thus the question.
Plenty of reasons to be non-cash but a lot of it came down the change shortage(s).
Yet to experience an onboard employee reject a cash tip.-

I think it's a glitch. All sorts of dates are missing.

Made it back covid free! About 85% of people were adhering to the masking rules, there were a couple of time we had to jump off of the elevator with people getting in with no masks on. The crew was always cleaning the elevator buttons staircase handles, there are hand sanitizing stations all over the ship. Which put us at ease. Just keep your hands clean and wear your mask and you are good to go! We had a great time, I just wish wearing a mask wasn't such a big statement for some folks, but to each his own. Already book another Cruise and can't wait to go!
Same question. About what capacity?

We are a group of 7 with 1 under 5 child for whom we applied for the exemption. The exemption was received at 62 days prior to sailing. Also, note that we were not able to get the online exemption form to work until we had made final payment. Our sailing is in March.
Hope that helps!
Good luck!I hope this is the same for us. 6 of us sailing and 5 of us are fully vaccinated and boosted. My 4 year old (turns 5 in May for what it's worth) needs the exemption. I filed about 2 weeks ago and haven't heard back regarding April 2 sailing.

I will say that I have just recently started using a PVP because I never previously found the benefit. My sister and I have identical everything booked. I asked for a rate drop through my PVP which was approved for $90obc. My sister submitted the price drop form on the website and got $40obc plus a $50 change fee.
I will support the rest of the commenters that said it's a booking aggregate and not a true dollar ratio commission.

No ginger ale, unfortunately. That’s my favorite.
I feel like I've seen Schweppe's onboard before in the lobby bar. Don't quote me on it, though.

I have never seen nor heard of those! I don't have an answer (although if they are that old I highly doubt they would be honored) but thought I'd just reminisce about the $5 casino match bet coupon you would get each time you ordered a classic cocktail!

I like trying everything at the Red Frog Pub (not the Rum Bar on Lido). They have fun mojitos and other rum based drinks that I really enjoy. I also really enjoy the spicy margaritas at the Blue Iguana.

It’s not? WTH??
I don't think Carnival is worried about sharing of soda like they are sharing of alcohol. That would probably be the reason not everyone in the cabin is required to purchase it.

There is a promotional rate floating around that offers guest 3/4/5 free. Pricing looks really attractive.
I know Carnival has some non-suites that fit 5 people. I believe some deluxe interior rooms on Dream class and some family harbor rooms on Vista class. I'm looking for honest opinions of those rooms from those who stayed in them. How cramped do you/they feel?

Really unfortunate because we haven't been to GC or Jamaica in about 4 years and have been to Roatan and Belize many, many times.
Completely understood but it does make it much more difficult to plan excursions especially since all of our kids will be traveling with us. -
I do see this in guest notes on all of my previously booked cruises
"A valid and qualifying VIFP Club Member number is required from at least one person in the stateroom to be eligible for this offer..."Take it for what it's worth as it doesn't describe the repercussions or penalties.

Conquest Class "L" Shaped Balcony Cabins
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
We've sailed the L a couple of times although on Magic. We love it. We spend most to all of our time outside so having a larger balcony for the same price as a standard balcony was perfect. I'd sit in the chair while my wife would lounge.
