A crew member told me that crew cabins and carpets are being redone as part of this dry dock. Some crew members are being moved to a Ferry and some are being moved up into Passenger cabins. Crew seems excited about the Dry Dock. Big changes to Prime 7, and this from 3 different crew members.

Navigator is a beautiful jewel! I have never experienced brown water. Food is fabulous, service wonderful and everything lovely! We are Regent cruisers with 70+ days onboard. This is our first sailing on Navigator and I am kicking myself that we have avoided this ship.
You will love it, she is beautiful and goes into drydock after our sailing.

Thanks Steamboats but how do you get Google Translate? I’m in an iPhone. Pictures are great. But would love to read the article more than one word at a time 😢

Found it just didn’t go far enough Forward! Ty

On the Joy can someone tell me where Guest Services Desk is? What Deck and Aft, Mid Or Forward. Looking at Deck plans do not seem to reflect the Hotel Services areas.

Could someone take a couple pictures of the menus in the main dining room... pretty please! We will be onboard on the Dec 22 sailing with a family of 10. Can the dining room accommodate 10? (6 adults, 2 teens, 2 kids). Have never sailed Norwegian, but there is a first time for everything!

Bang for your buck? That’s a very loaded question as River Cruising bares little resemblance to Ocean Cruising. Completely different experience. The reason for the big difference in cost is Ocean Cruises have 10’s Of 1,000’s Of cabins spread out over 12 months on hundreds (or more) Itineraries. Vs River Cruising a Boat holds 120 to 200 passengers, there are a very limited # of boats and a few navigable rivers in Europe and the Cruising season is 8 or 9 months. So limited availability vs nearly unlimited with Ocean Cruising. That’s the price difference.
You will not get the amenities of a cruise ship, food while Good is limited to what can be prepared in a kitchen the size of your master bedroom closet. Single seating at dinner with a limited variety. Entertainment is very limited but fun when presented. After a long day of touring the passengers actually go to bed rather than party all nite.
No big shows, no rock climbing wall..... River Cruising is wonderful but it’s not Ocean Cruising. Take your good humor and sense of adventure and you will have a great time!

Thank you!

Where is this ship now and has the Refurb happened yet??? Have never sailed Norwegian but just booked 3 cabins for kids and grandkids.
Seems this ship has been based and was based in China.

PS if you can afford an Avalon River Cruise you can afford laundry. We sent ours out and Avalon did a beautiful job. Don’t remember the prices because frankly it was what it was and there was no other choice. Doing panties in my sink and leaving them all over to dry is not anything I’m willing to doing on vacation. Enjoy our Amsterdam to Budapest Cruise was fabulous!

Check eBay! They have all manner of items “borrowed” from various cruise lines.

I met him several years ago, lovely gentleman!

But I loved my Avalon cruise, ask for a credit against your cruise!

These are generally left over seats and Avalon has zero control. Don’t plan on good connections but insist you leave the US 3 days before sailing so that any weather or airline screw ups can be over come and you will make the sailing.
This same advice applies for flights booked yourself. You fly out today and get there tomorrow (hopefully)
Currently on Navigator and I have been told she is going into drydock??
in Regent Seven Seas Cruises

I think it seems that way because Navigator is so small.... the ship just seems very intimate and welcoming. I get this with every Regent ship but with Navigator I think it’s a bit more special.
