My understanding is that it is for 4-6 weeks, most of crew going over with her and they will be cleaning, etc., ship’s interior is in really excellent condition, dry dock will mainly address the ‘underneath’ parts we cannot see. Some of the crew thought they would be sailing Europe for a few months then returning to Caribbean but not sure of the accuracy of that.

I saw that they end the Caribbean in early April and then resume in the Med around mid May until returning to the Caribbean in mid October

  2. How did you get someone to talk to you.  I had a cruise in Dec that is at 3 months tomorrow that is not added to my voyagers account.  I have been emailing for a month and I called and the person I talked to was useless.  Please let me know the number you called.  Thanks

  3. I have only cruised on MSC once and it was in the Yacht Club.  I can let you know my experience compared to the NCL Haven.  I have found that the Seashore Yacht Club was superior to the Haven in most aspects.   The biggest negative for me with MSC is their land based customer service and their website and IT.  It is very poor.  The ship side service was outstanding and the public areas in the Yacht club were much bigger then the Haven.  The butler service was good but not great on Msc but it could have been our Butler because in the Haven we had a great butler once and a decent butler once.  We like MSC so much that we have 2 more cruises booked in the Yacht club both times.

The booking engine is weird (duh) under normal circumstances but the b2b vs. 1 longer cruise situation is even weirder. Sometimes, it's better to book a b2b and sometimes it's better to book as 1 cruise. There's no logic to it from our point of view.

If using FCC is involved, you're kind of stuck with 1 longer cruise. Your stateroom might not be your first choice but the way that MSC sometimes moves people without notice or reason, you might get lucky. 😜

You are correct.  This was a casino certificate cruise so we could not book the B2B.  Regarding the move, it did happen on our last cruise so you are right who knows.  I just found it odd.

  5. I know I saw this talked about a while back but I searched and could not find the answer.  So we booked a 10 day on the Meraviglia in October.  It really is a 3 day and a 7 days.  We booked in the Yacht club (Deluxe Suite) and when booking I was told there was only 1 room left and we booked it.  But when I look at the 3 day and the 7 day separately there are a large number of rooms available and most are the same for both cruises.  In your experience do any of those eventually open up for the 10 day?   I do not hate the room location but it was not my first choice of floor.  Any insight?

    That would help a lot!

I am very curious as I was on the Seashore in December and my grades would have been much higher except of course the Website.  For the website if there was a grade lower then F they would get it.

  7. Anyone else having Website issues today 2/17/22.  I tried to logon to my account to see if they finally added our points from our early Dec cruise but when I did the website gave me an time out error.  Now I try to log on and it tells me my password is incorrect.  I am 100% certain the password is correct.  I am afraid to change the password because that, in my experience, will cause even more issues since their IT department is incompetent.
