They should move an Oasis class ship in to do a few sailings while they can

It's not an escape room as such, but more a room with some puzzles in you need to solve in order unlock a box with a medal in (I think it was) which means you win.
When we did it they said not many teams were able to complete it due to the difficulty. We completed it with about a minute to spare. It was challenging.I prefer the actual escape rooms though.

Hello
I presume there is no issues getting a Subclass 651 eVisitor to enter AUS / cruise, which is a free Visa, seeing as I'm in the UK and looks like we are eligible to apply for them?
Thanks.

I only did it once on Oasis, but found it really slow- maybe I didn't lean back and tuck the elbows as much as I should have, but I found it fun... just pretty slow. I think on Utopia they are adding rollers or something to keep you moving...and some see through panels in the slide.
Agreed. Promises a lot but found it slow/

Also got off Explorer last Sunday. Was actually one of our most favourite cruises. Ship felt very 'fun' and really enjoyed it.
I've suggested in the post cruise survey they look to update the quiz questions / music clips they use as I'm sick of hearing the same 20 tracks for the past 3 years!
Food is subjective, but both of us found the dining room excellent on this occasion. Food was hot and tasty, service could have been a little quicker but wasn't a problem.
Oh, and we really enjoyed Perry Grant too 😉 Totally different piano man style than other ships we've been on.

That's brilliant! looking forward to hopefully seeing that at the end of the week.

Close thread.

Can anyone who's been on Explorer when she's out in the Caribbean advise if they show English Football onboard? I think it'll probably hinge on whether or not the ship has the 'Sport24' channel or not, but someone who's been onboard recently my be able to advise.
Thank you.

You are not allowed to leave Royals Compound at Labadee.
There are a few excursions that slightly leave but you don't get out and about. Ie Zip Line and boat trip to fabricated local village
Boat trip to fabricated local village tickled me 😄

If its stuck at pending this it will drop off in a few days. The bank will say its authorised as they've issued an auth code for it, but if RCI aren't going to claim it then it's never going to move on.

Anyone buying one of the $100,000 chalices that includes a life-time drinks package?
😄
See 'the blog' for further details.

Regardless of if it was transferred to the original agent or not, UK T&C don't allow price adjustments once the booking is made (although I thought you were allowed 1 price adjustment for an onboard booking. Maybe someone else knows).
You could look to 'upgrade' to the next cabin class up if that's cheaper than the rate you've currently got as they do allow that.

Icon is well out of my price range.

All information that I can find says that terminal A is the correct place to board the Explorer in Miami. Is that correct? Will I need any additional information for my driver?
I'd check here:
https://wwwx.miamidade.gov/Apps/Seaport/dailydock/Default.aspx
We're on Explorer in a few weeks and show Terminal G

Very exited to read this 😄
We're going to AUS for the first time in 2025 (having a few days in Singapore on the way), few days in Sydney, then 11 night cruise on Ovation to NZ.
It'll be great to get a 'Brits' take on it all.

If you, like me, hate coach travel and would prefer the train, use a website called Trainline.
Even though you normally have to change twice (first at Hayes & Harlington and then at Reading) it's usually still quicker than the awful National Express coaches which don't take a direct route and are subject to the inevitable traffic delays on the M25 and M3 motorways.
Don't use the trainline. They're a 3rd party that charge a booking fee.
Book with any of the train companies (TPExpress / Northern / Southern / Crosscountry). Pay exactly the same price. Avoid the booking fee.

Utterly embarassing this sort of stuff can happen.
It's like the new version of the glitch of the 'old' version of the website where if you entered the reservation in the wrong way then it could reprice your booking / remove all your discounts.

They hired him recently to enhance the "natural feeling" of the island!👍
Looking forward to the email:
"We've added some stingrays and lemon sharks to enhance your experience of Perfect Day at CocoCay. As a result of this there will be an additional charge of $5 per guest, plus and 18% gratuity for your convenience"

You can ask. At worst they'll say 'no'.

Dreadful compensation offering. So sorry for those that have lost out on flights, time off work etc.
Reflects very poorly on RCI

Doesn't matter if it was, the cat did not undergo the appropriate quarantine procedures before the passengers brought it onto the ship. If it was a therapy cat then why would they be sneaking it around, it also doesn't say much for security in Honolulu either.
It was said tongue in cheek. It seems to have been lost on most. All these "therapy animals" should be nowhere near cruise ships

If it was a therapy cat they wouldn’t have pussyfooted around snuggling it onboard…it would have had a purrpose to be on board.
Purrfect explanation.

Yup. Another vote for Dublin. We landed in Dublin at 11.20am and took off for Newark at 1.00pm ! You've got to book it as a 'through ticket' via Aer Lingus for it all to work though.
I was panicking with the short connection time but as the initial flight was on time it was no drama. If the first flight had been late I imagine they'd have put us on the JFK flight.
