  1. Yup. Another vote for Dublin. We landed in Dublin at 11.20am and took off for Newark at 1.00pm ! You've got to book it as a 'through ticket' via Aer Lingus for it all to work though.

I was panicking with the short connection time but as the initial flight was on time it was no drama. If the first flight had been late I imagine they'd have put us on the JFK flight.

  2. It's not an escape room as such, but more a room with some puzzles in you need to solve in order unlock a box with a medal in (I think it was) which means you win.

When we did it they said not many teams were able to complete it due to the difficulty. We completed it with about a minute to spare. It was challenging.

I prefer the actual escape rooms though.

I only did it once on Oasis, but found it really slow- maybe I didn't lean back and tuck the elbows as much as I should have, but I found it fun... just pretty slow.  I think on Utopia they are adding rollers or something to keep you moving...and some see through panels in the slide.

Agreed. Promises a lot but found it slow/

  4. Also got off Explorer last Sunday. Was actually one of our most favourite cruises. Ship felt very 'fun' and really enjoyed it.

I've suggested in the post cruise survey they look to update the quiz questions / music clips they use as I'm sick of hearing the same 20 tracks for the past 3 years!

Food is subjective, but both of us found the dining room excellent on this occasion. Food was hot and tasty, service could have been a little quicker but wasn't a problem.

Oh, and we really enjoyed Perry Grant too 😉 Totally different piano man style than other ships we've been on.

  5. Regardless of if it was transferred to the original agent or not, UK T&C don't allow price adjustments once the booking is made (although I thought you were allowed 1 price adjustment for an onboard booking. Maybe someone else knows).

You could look to 'upgrade' to the next cabin class up if that's cheaper than the rate you've currently got as they do allow that.

If you, like me, hate coach travel and would prefer the train, use a website called Trainline.

Even though you normally have to change twice (first at Hayes & Harlington and then at Reading) it's usually still quicker than the awful National Express coaches which don't take a direct route and are subject to the inevitable traffic delays on the M25 and M3 motorways.

Don't use the trainline. They're a 3rd party that charge a booking fee.

Book with any of the train companies (TPExpress / Northern / Southern / Crosscountry). Pay exactly the same price. Avoid the booking fee.

They hired him recently to enhance the "natural feeling" of the island!👍

    Looking forward to the email:

"We've added some stingrays and lemon sharks to enhance your experience of Perfect Day at CocoCay. As a result of this there will be an additional charge of $5 per guest, plus and 18% gratuity for your convenience"

Doesn't matter if it was, the cat did not undergo the appropriate quarantine procedures before the passengers brought it onto the ship. If it was a therapy cat then why would they be sneaking it around, it also doesn't say much for security in Honolulu either.

It was said tongue in cheek. It seems to have been lost on most. All these "therapy animals" should be nowhere near cruise ships
