If it was a therapy cat they wouldn’t have pussyfooted around snuggling it onboard…it would have had a purrpose to be on board.
Purrfect explanation.

What if it was a therapy cat 😉

Great outcome 🙂

Saw an 80s party on the Liberty a few weeks ago.
Totally agreed about the 70s party. They either need to change it up or remove it totally now. Everyone's seen the Village People.

I'd phone royal now and get it ironed out before the 15th.

looks like you would have been on some cruises during football season. Any idea? Im sailing next week on symphony
I was on Liberty a few weeks ago and 1pm, 425pm SNF and MNF was all shown. Disembarked on Thursday but no reason to think TNF wouldn't have been shown too.

May be a bad example. No one wants to watch the dumpster fire on offer today

It looked like it should be sailings for 2 ships. One that went out of Rome and one out of Barcelona.
No. You can either decide if you want to embark in Rome (and call at Barcelona) or embark at Barcelona (and call at Rome). Your choice.

It has everything to do with what someone can afford. People who can easily afford the auto gratuities will not think twice about them. Look at the comments in this thread that say the cruise is already expensive enough without the gratuities. There are people who can only afford to cruise on RCI by cutting corners when possible to include removing gratuities. Unfortunately this ends up penalizing hard working crew members who make cruising a great experience.
It doesn't. They get paid a guaranteed wage by RCI regardless.

I don't know why (I should have expected it) but I'm amazed at how expensive they are!
Perhaps I'm a bit behind with things but I have noticed aft balconies are now called 'Sunset View' or something like that and are even more expensive.
They aren't shown that way on the current deck plans, so must be new. Celebrity have offered them separately for quite a while so probably just bringing them in line (and giving them an excuse to charge more money too).

Crazy stuff. Onboard service / offering getting worse and they're increasing the salary supplement scheme. Prices getting higher all the time.
I've always prepaid (which I know a lot of UK guests don't do), but the time has come I feel where I'd just remove and tip directly onboard to those that deserve it imo.
After our NZ cruise in 2025, may genuinely book another line. Even with the D+ drinks, the value is really not great anymore.

It's crazy they load them into the live booking system and make them bookable too.
You'd think in 2023 they'd be able to put them onto the system but make them only visible in the back end / require a promo code to view for internal staff or something.

Ok... UK person question.
What is the difference between 'Cream' and 'Milk' in the USA ?
I think I have a very different idea of what 'cream' is and I wouldn't expect it to go into Tea / Coffee!
Thanks.

Off Liberty last week and felt similar. The food was "ok". Wasn't really hot enough.
My Mum had the steak too and it looked pathetic. She said it wasn't good.
Comments made to the staff and on the survey.

Ridiculous post. It's not the cruise lines fault that someone else picked up your sister's bag.
The person who picked it up should be paying for the shipping to send them to where they need to go.

I hope you all get some good OBC for this. You've paid a lot for a five day cruise and wind up with just eight hours in port. Lol
No OBC offered.

Would have been nice if you guys could have had an overnight in Manhattan, guess Royal didn't want to flip the bill for docking spot. Curious was the casino onboard open last night and today?
Yeh that's a shame actually didn't think of that.
No, casino & shops were all closed. Should be open now but I've not been back inside to look. That will have cost them a few $$$.

I'm onboard. We're leaving in about an hour and scheduled to arrive Bermuda 845am Tuesday with allaboard 5.45pm. Shame we're missing the overnight but nothing we can do about it and at least we get to go still :)

Ouch. I'd do as suggested above and try online.
Nothing you can do if it doesn't come through. He won't be permitted to sail.
-
It's nonsense. They shouldn't let you change it in the US but not anywhere else.
They shouldn't let you change it at all as its the risk you took by booking a gty.

I did not enter the names as TBA, no. I tried to put in their data - because my husband has a different C&A# than I do. When I noted that TBA was on the booking, I did call - for 2 reasons. 1. The TBA,TBA names on the booking and 2. to link my and my husband's C&A#s and see if we could be booked in at his higher tier. They were able to link our accounts but stated that I had to wait until check in the enter passenger data.
on the phone now
OOO that's not right. They should have fixed the names when you called.
Hope you get a resolution.

Up until now, all the system has shown is my name and guests TBA, TBA. When I tried to add their names to the booking, it said that it wouldn't be available until October 3.
Did you originally input the names as TBA ?
October 3rd would be the date you can 'check in' from. The dates on the original reservation still needed to be corrected though.

It was said tongue in cheek. It seems to have been lost on most. All these "therapy animals" should be nowhere near cruise ships
