  1. We also sailed on the 6/14 cruise and were also Aqua Class in Room 9112.

We stayed the night before in Parsippany and it was a quick shot to the port. Parking was a breeze. Great attendant who told us specifically not to park to close the next car so we didn't get his by someone not paying attention to their door. Bags dropped and registered by 10:00 and on the ship by 10:45. First pina colada in hand by 11:00. We decided on the buffet since the boat was still pretty empty by the time we wandered through there. Went to the spa and hubby worked out there daily. Loved it and particularly the sauna in the men's changing room there.

Got to our room and it was great. Perfect location and would stay in it again in a minute. Quiet and in the perfect location. Also in case anyone wonders it did have a pull out couch.

Blu was really good but have to say was really slow on alot of evenings. I don't mind have a leisurely dinner but people were actually leaving before dessert because they didn't want to wait any longer. We only did breakfast on two days for this reason.

We loved the coffee shop and went there daily for coffee and dessert. Everything we ordered was covered in the classic package.

The casino was great and the bartenders there were awesome.

The shows were okay. I went every night. The comedian from the first night was great and even better on the night it was just him. Sirens was awful and if I had been in a easier place to slip out I would have. iMagic was good too.

Disembarkation was quick and even though we bought 8 bottles we were not charged at customs. Bonus!

Any other questions I can answer, please feel free to ask.

  2. You will LOVE this cabin location! I must have said to my husband every day how much I loved the location. Covered balcony was awesome. Absolutely no noise from above. I think one day I could barely make out some pool music. We had the balcony doors open at all different times during the day. You are only 6 doors down from the stairs. SUPER QUIET! No one across the hall. Up one flight of stairs and you turn one way to the pool and the other to the buffet. Just past the stairs on 9 (waling with the library to your right) and you are at the center elevators which take you right down to where you leave and enter the boat! Zip down to 5 for dinner, shows and shopping and 4 for the casino! I would book this room again in a heartbeat! If you have Susan as your room steward tell her hi from "Miss Leslie" she was great!

  3. Just returned last Sunday and was in 9112. There was an overhang but I saw it as a total advantage. It was misty or raining from time to time so could sit out there and enjoy anyway. The balconies are small so its not like you can sit out there an sunbath. Even with the humidity it was pleasant to sit out there when there was breeze. Room seemed cooler too.

  4. We are coming from Shelby Township, MI on the 13th. I booked the Fairfield Inn & Suites Parsiippany. Got the room with AAA for $81 with tax and they have breakfast. Mapquest shows its about 36 minutes from the port. Right off the expressway so no traveling back and forth to get on and off.

  5. I booked an excursion through Celebrity and they told me I had to pay up front. Since we are going to Bermuda they said if the excursion I want is still open that I could cancel my reservation and get a refund and then rebook using my OBC. They came straight from the Celebrity person I booked with.

  6. Thanks for the quick response. We have the alcohol package and the grat's are paid but I wasn't sure if I could use in the duty free which would be great option for us. Since we are driving I can easily take home a few extra bottles of liquor. I also didn't know I could use on the bingo. That is always a fun thing to do!

  7. Cruising in an Aqua Class on June 14th. Was great deal because we got the 3 bonuses added - tips, drinks and on board credit. Just curious - when looked at brochure it said Aqua receives all the Concierge benefits along with the Aqua Class ones. Is that correct? Also, it came with the class drink package which is really fine with us - we are not picky drinkers. Is there anyplace we can't use that on the ship?

    Thanks.
