the reviews on here are pretty horrendous.
Perhaps search reviews elsewhere? Or at least search for favorable threads on here.
Logic would lead one to believe asking for reviews again when the reviews are already 'pretty horrendous' should yield 'pretty horrendous' reviews.

Many of you may not remember a time when not even one bottle of wine was allowed to be brought on board. It would be sad if they took our wine bottle allowance away because it was abused and folks tried to scam the system.

Some may remember a time when you could bring a portable bar along. Also replenish at ports.

I realize food is very subjective, but Wonderland is my second least favorite speciality restaurant (Mason Jar is number one by a huge margin).Subjective indeed, as we love them both.

JS here and yes we were embarrassed to beg and knock until somebody let us in
No need to be embarrassed...you're simply requesting access to an area that only grants limited access to JS's.

I read your idea and agree completely. My feeling is anyone who pays for a suite should be the only person in a suite lounge.
I am not sure how other lines handle this. I know I never saw Black/Diamond status in the YC on MSC. I think if you don't pay for the suite, you shouldn't go in the lounge. JMO.
Mind you I'm just a D+ and probably will never make the P status.
Couldn't agree more. We are approaching p status (albeit a bit gingerly, as we no longer sail RC exclusively). Not even sure why the suite lounge/ck/etc was ever offered based on status. 'Want it, then pay for it' seems like common sense to us.

If you're content w/ the product you're currently sailing, remain content. If you're curious on the bigger ships, I wouldn't worry about embracing anything...just cruise one and see what you think. Ask a million people their preferences, and you'll most likely get 2 million responses.

Just criticizing!

Yep...I'll criticize your selfishness.

Pinnacle members not staying in a suite are required to use vouchers. Suite guests, regardless of crown and anchor designation, receive the complementary drinks.

That is exactly how it appears on paper. Real world experiences may vary.

Up to 6 months ago it was pretty much a guarantee perk
With upper tiers becoming so top heavy, it won't be getting better any time soon (we were amoungst those receiving quadruple points in suites after the extended flu season...it was almost comical how quickly tiers rolled by).
We used to be loyal to Royal, but w/ the continued reduction in perks, we've been cruising other lines as of late. Royal is far from being the only line out there, and other than the Crown Loft's, their suite program is far from the best. So we've decided to cruise other lines' suites, and generally get enough perks to make up for the diminished C&A program anyway.- 4

Perhaps it was not obvious, but my last comment was about the OP.
Ya, I figured it was on my somewhat cryptic comment. Never been one to catch the obvious lol.

It may have a race against Cats.
Biker, who wonders what compels folks to post mindless musings.
My comment was in response to pizza in the theatre/drink making in the restroom/etc. Sorry to overtax the brain.

The implication on this board is that MSC is all about the Yacht Club.
To some, it is...and that's OK.

So. 9:15 PM show in Lyric last night. Invitation to Dance. Ten minutes after start of performance. In comes fellow cruiser with stack of plates with lids. Hands them down a row. Picnic ensues. Tonight was pizza night in the theater. Two different performances. Mini pizza parties. Getting strong Chastain vibes from Royal. (Atlanta reference. Great venue.)
Ignoring this. The performances were entertaining. Really talented musicians, singers, dancers.
Another interesting afternoon at the pool. Drinks in women's restroom. (Yes, someone took their mojito into their stall.)
Dinner Italian night. Not a fan. My family is Italian. Would have selected steak, but Chops is tomorrow night.
Ice show at 10:15 P.M. cancelled some technology issues.
Love and Marriage with emcee "Crusin' Susan" (I have no opinion on cruise directors, but she's humorous). Fun show. Left wondering if one of the couples worked out a routine just for the show.
Having such a good time we booked Oasis back to back next year. Next Cruise this morning. Yes, no deal, a measly $50.00 onboard credit. Ben and David talked us into it. Their YouTube video several weeks ago. Pondering prior to this cruise. Quirky fellow cruisers, varied food quality aside; the service from the very hard working crew shines.
Stop by the trailer park when able (perhaps I missed the obvious, and you wrote this from there lol).

Is this an attempt at humor? Weak.
Not at all. If ya just wanna pay postage, you're welcome to ours. They are indeed a big deal to some, as is readily displayed onboard. Perhaps I offended you w/ the 'be friendly' comment? If so, I apologize....just continue on as normal.

Seriously?
How long you have been sailing with RCI?
You should try the friendly road and encourage them to put in on Ebay for auction. You could very well be the only bidder...what a deal.

RCI can't stop the chair hogs. How will they stop passengers from leaving their laundry in machines all day?
They don't have to...the next person in line would be more efficient than any employee could dream of being.

The costumes have been…..interesting. One young lady who has a dinner table nearby has been a cat and either a cow or a fawn.
In today's wacky world, there's a good chance she didn't believe her attire was a costume.

Indeed! I just asked my wife, but she muttered something I couldn’t quite hear, and then stormed off to play something called “Bingo?” 🤷♂️
Have to admit...some training required 😏

I don’t understand all of the fuss! Just take a Wicker basket. I throw all my clothes somewhere near it and 2 days later they all appear clean and folded in the drawer? 🤷♂️
This is truly amazing....When I get onboard, I cruise the ship/get a couple drinks/relax/etc, and when I get to our room, I magically have clothes that are all the proper size hanging and in drawers. They even look remarkably similar to those at home.
Upon arriving home, as long as I go out and have fun and don't attempt to accomplish anything in the house, it appears nothing has been touched since we departed (clothes/ship games/etc). Only occasionally is there a suitcase that needs to be put away.
I've determined the key to this whole process is to be uninvolved, unstressed, and inattentive. Life is good.

Late night at sea and we watched what appeared to be a large drone on starboard side flying for several minutes.
Whatever it was kept pace about 30 feet away from the ship….. curious to what it was…. maybe too much happy hour 😊
By definition....if it was flying, and you don't know what is was, it was an UFO.

This makes me recall growing up with the Love Boat and conversations with my husband after our first cruise regarding cruise attire and how no one, and I mean no one was walking around the lido deck in their swimwear and high heels.
Certainly one area that is so much better in today's times.
Is MSC Seascape really THAT bad?

Ya...I realize it sounds obvious, but yes, really. Certainly didn't mean to offend anyone...regardless what is said, somebody is offended in today's world.
