  1. Please let us know how you get on with your TA. My hubby was in the trade for 40 plus years before he retired, it is their responsibility to communicate with P&O on your behalf, if they can't or won't do they have a Head Office?
  2. What I don't understand is why can't P&O just be open and honest? If there is work planned fair enough, you wouldn't want to be disturbed by any of that. But to use "operational reasons" as an excuse is not good enough, just tell the OP why!!
  3. Naming ceremony is 16 March 2023 so this could well be the case. We also have and aft suite booked on Arvia for September, I hope they are not going to start playing silly devils and messing with special occasions!
  4. I take it you can still buy water in resort and take it back onboard?
  5. Excellent show. Keeps you guessing from start to finish. If they do another one they will have to introduce even more twists and turns.
  6. Love Trentham Gardens, visit every week, tend to stay clear of weekends as it gets very busy. Start off with bacon butty in Cadwalladers then into the gardens for a nice walk. After its either the garden centre or shopping village.
  7. We went to Bridgemere as well today. Love how they have refurbished the restaurants, much better. Still don't think they should allow dogs inside though. Some people not paying attention to what their dogs were up to, another couple were giving their dog various treats in the pet shop area to see which ones they preferred. Nice Christmas Shop this year 😁
  8. Totally agree Tom. Just checked our Arvia for Sept 2023 and it is £1700 (for two) more now than when we booked at launch. OK the OBC has increased to £690 per cabin but you are paying for that in the increased fare.
  9. Lol probably better than some of the entertainment onboard. Its the rhythm of the tail. Anyone who has ever owned a Lab will know it well! 😁
  10. Just wanted to share this video with you all, it has had me in stitches Labrador Moments™ on Instagram_ _🎥_ @liz_the_lab one girl show 🎹🎶🎷🥁 - Tag your friends who needs to see this cutie 🐕💕 - Don't forget to follow us for a daily dose of LABRADOR cuteness 😍 - .mp4
  11. You can also add to the list the Trentham Estate. Consists of gardens (chargeable) shopping village and garden centre. Lots of nice eateries and there is a Premier Inn. Just off the M6 at junction 15 on the A34 southbound. 😀
  12. I bet it took you longer than a day (and that's just sorting the pieces out) we have the same one and it took 2 of us over a week 🤪. How did you find the balconies?
  13. OK , I'm leaving this thread now.
  14. What defines "complex itineraries"? There are a number of specific itineraries and more detail will be provided in early September but as a general rule it is the majority of holidays which are 16 nights or more or any cruise which includes the full Panama Canal transit and certain “remote” or “exotic” holidays of less than 16 nights. We will be contacting all affected guests directly in early September, and ahead of their holiday, to confirm if they will need to take a test.
  15. Only the date, not the guidance has been updated.
  16. The website will be updated........eventually! 😁
  17. New guidelines from 6 Sept From 6 September 2022, self-testing prior to travel will change from “mandatory” to “highly recommended” for vaccinated guests on the vast majority of holidays. Children aged five – 11 years who are not fully vaccinated will still require a negative lateral flow/antigen test prior to embarkation. Guests sailing on longer, more complex itineraries will be required to have an observed or in person antigen or PCR test with a fit to travel certificate prior to departure. These include a number of holidays of 16 nights or more and other specific cruises. These new guidelines apply to all Cunard and P&O Cruises itineraries sailing from Southampton and all other departure points with the exception of countries where government regulations and protocols may vary including Canada and Australia.
  18. We peaked at 37 around 2-3pm. Currently 32. Its too hot!!
  19. I know you are a bit further north in the City but up Anley Duck we have quite a bit of cloud cover and 26° at the moment.
  20. We always carry our card with us along with a photocopy of our passports, you can't be too careful. Thoughts are with you and your family.
  21. According to the gov website you can still use your EHIC card up to the expiry date. Ours don't expire until Oct 24.
