  2. Talk about dumb, seen that didn't put it together.๐Ÿฅด Sorry Cdaze71
  3. Why I liked the one from Amazon is you just add it to your own watch band, no extra things to wear.
  4. I was considering one of these from Amazon. Has anybody seen them, in the flesh so to speak.
  5. Further to Porky55, Do you have to pay for Hot Chocolate drinks on the standard Soda Package? Thanks.
  6. I agree, if you wish to see more of NZ, then fly over, then do a drive tour around the north island ending in Auckland, then cruise a one way back. What ever road tour you do, don't try to do it all, NZ has an incredible diversity of scenery fauna and flora, and the place is bigger than it looks to explore. The south Island it's self is worth a trip on its own, maybe even two trips, depending on what your interests are. I suggest do your b2bs, and do research what you would like to see, and then plan a NZ trip to do it justice.
  7. You could also look at the NAPOLEON ON KENT. Studio apartments around $180 p/n, or a 1 bedroom apartment for around $220 p/n. The 1 bedrooms have a functional kitchen. There is a good pub across the road for meals as well, called the Sussex Hotel. We found them excellent when we stayed pre-cruise there a couple of times. You can walk the Rocks area and the Barangaroo sea front area.
  8. The Diamond in 2010 maybe 2012 had a free Ice-cream stall, but sold it to a NZ franchise Ice-cream company. Now you pay.
  9. When we flew to England for a holiday and cruised back, I only took a white shirt, and a pair of dress trousers. When in England, visited a heap of op shops, bought a smart tweed jacket, like new for uk10.00, for formal nights. great jacket still got it. Their pretty common over there due to the colder weather, and poms being poms, they like to dress up a bit.
  10. On our last Princess cruise, just that happened, guy stood arguing with the Maitre d, demanding he had a right to wear what ever he liked. He didn't get in, thank goodness. But some "I've got rights" yobo will eventually ruin things, and there will be nowhere where good manners/dress sense is respected. But not for a long time I hope.
  11. Actually, never had to buy anything other than what I intended to buy while away. That's my story and I'm sticking to it......๐Ÿ˜œ
  12. Well that's close to what happens at our place, except I select my own cloths. I use a list. See below: 1/ Enter walk in closet, grab what ever I fancy. 2/ Drop on bed. 3/ Get large suitcase. 4/ Roll shirts and pack tight. 5/ Fold pants flat, pack tight. 6/ Shove a load of undies, socks, hankies, and what ever. 7/ Close case. 8/ 20 minutes later, Look smug, (regret later) See no problems.๐Ÿคฃ
  13. Generally ladies have a harder time packing than gentlemen. So many styles colours and shoes to chose from and mix & match. Men just a bunch of shirts pants and a couple of shoes and he done, usually takes me about 15-20 minutes, done.
  14. Haven't tried the MDR at boarding, will do next cruise we do. The last few cruises we done, we were delivered to the terminal early between 10-10:30, as my B-I-L has had to be somewhere else by 11am. so were on board about 11:15-11:30. To early to go to the cabin, been on the ship/ships several times before, so no need to explore, so have a quite nibble and drink. Head of to cabin about an hour later and unpack, then sit back and relax, well earnt after two days of hectic packing, and excitement we are finally going.๐Ÿ˜Š By the way I did'nt say it was me hectic packing, packing is a whole new story.....๐Ÿคฃ
  15. That's one of the things I liked about, quite and unspoilt. The other thing about it the architect houses built into the hill side. I cant remember the architects name, he had a name for his unusual houses. I thought they were quaint.โ˜บ๏ธ Others probably didn't.
  16. It was very quite in 1974-1979 when I was there, I like the quite village type of places.
  17. was thinking off that point, as you go over the top, that the wind nearly picks up your car and tosses it. Frightened the pants of me the first time going over. By the way Petone is a very nice area. You must miss it.
  18. Ah ok now I get it. Philosophy isn't an engineers strong point, please forgive this humble being.๐Ÿ˜† Yes it can be a bit hectic embarkation day. Normally go to the patisserie area for a nibble then cabin to unpack.
  19. OK, Right I understand... Ah no I don't.. Isn't they then the same thing? How Can it then be worst than it's self?๐Ÿค” It would then be really bad?? ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
  20. Is that opposed to going through Upper Hutt and over the Rimutaka Hill to the Wairarapa?
  21. I think it was that stuff that made me a non coffee drinker.๐Ÿ˜
  22. That's what I do, I believe it gives a smoother flavour, plus easier to mix. My wife prefers soy milk, I've got use to it, and now find it is very smooth in the chocolate.
  23. It's amazing the difference in weather once you cross the Pukerua hill and do the run along the ocean to Paekฤkฤriki. it's a whole new world from Wellington.
