We leave Sunday on the Encore from Seattle. It'll be our first cruise in several years--thanks covid. What is the disembark schedule/process like these days? We live in the area, so aren't dependent on a flight or anything. More than happy to get a day's worth of eating in while the people who have to be somewhere get off and on their way. Simply need to plan for the ride back home. Thanks

Prepare for both. I have been in shorts and a tee-shirt in Juneau without a cloud in sight and was bundled up in Sitka and and Ketchikan later in the week. The Pacific Ocean is notorious for significantly changing weather on demand.

NCL's cancel policy used to insinuate that if you canceled due to a positive covid test, you'd get an FCC, however if you were denied boarding because of a positive covid test could get a refund in lieu of an FCC. That link was available last week, it no longer goes to that policy anymore: https://www.ncl.com/refund-and-cancellation-policy-covid-19 If that is still the case, it seems you need to force NCL to deny you boarding...

Sorry to hear you got Covid. Did you get quarantined to different stateroom like others have?

We'll be on the Encore for Alaska later in June. If my memory serves correct, the bigger NCL ships dock further south from the other ships. But how far out of town is it? Also with being in Juneau from 2:30 to 11, I am curious what time does the town die down? We certainly won't be partying late on the streets and then racing to the pier, but I am curious what to expect once evening comes. Obviously cruise season has just re-started after an awful long pause, so I get keeping expectations reasonable.

We will be doing this sailing later next month. Looking forward to your posts. I'm also curious how your experience with embark went.
