  1. For those of you that have already had your NCL cruises cancelled and took the FCC, were you able to apply it to another cruise you already had booked for say 2021. Assume the other cruise was only deposited and not paid in full, can you apply your credit to that cruise. And, a follow up question, what happens if new cruise is less and you have money left over? Thank you!
  2. UPDATE: We were 3 couples from my husband's family traveling on the Breakaway on September 6 out of NYC to Canada/New England. Our paid in full date passed on May 9. One couple cancelled as things are changing every day, and they won't be comfortable that soon, if we can sail. Two of the couples, including my husband and I, are riding it out. Doubting it will sail, especially because of the NYC part, however, we decided if it's cancelled we will just wait and see what kind of future credit that NCL offers. Thank you for all of your comments!
  3. If you've done NCL to Alaska in the past, what is your favorite ship and itinerary to Alaska and why? We are thinking round trip Seattle? But, that still offers 3 ships and varied itineraries. Thank you!
  4. We are due to sail out of NYC to New England and Canada on September 6. I realize none of us have a crystal ball! But, if you have a cruise booked early September, what are your thoughts. Do you think it will sail? Did you have one booked and you cancelled, why? If you haven't cancelled, are you just waiting for NCL to cancel and take the best deal or you'll sail if it sails? Thank you!
  5. Anybody have an idea or at least a guess when 2022 Alaska will be released? Thank you!
  6. I have a different suggestion, can you tack the cruise on to your Universal trip? I would not do less than a 4-night on Disney. Why don't you see if you can get the dates to work for the Disney Magic out of Florida, you can get 4 or 5 nights for probably less than the dream? The 3-night cruise is super rushed and without even one sea day you really don't get a good feel for or enjoy the ship itself. We've been on 8 disney cruises and several other cruise lines and that is my two cents. The quality of food, customer service and entertainment puts disney up there, it's a well-done classy cruise. And, I hear the kids clubs are great, but don't have any personal experience
  7. Yes, you can reuse the previous mug. You can also get a beer card instead, so you don't have to carry the mug back and forth. We were on the wonder in November, I believe the draft beers were $6.75 and up.
  8. I now have an OB category on Deck 5. It's an oceanview. The oceanview went up a little in price, but now gives all 4 perks and some on board credit. If I go down to an inside cabin, it goes down in price and I also get all 4 perks and some on board credit. I've in an oceanview on deck 5, is there a big difference, besides the window, if I go inside, is the size, layout, bathroom any smaller/worse? Would you switch for the perks? I would love some seasoned Breakaway travelers to share their thoughts. Thank you!
  9. Has it gone into dry dock recently or will it go soon? Sailing her for the 2nd time this September and am curious. Thank you!
  10. Single Dad with 10 and 12 year old girls. First cruise, spring break. Can drive to either New Orleans or Galveston. Which would have the most activities, clubs, etc for that age. Carnival, Royal Caribbean, NCL and please comment why/why not.?? Thank you!

  13. Does anyone please have any daily sheets for the 7-day out of Galveston going to Cozumel, Mahogany Bay...? Also, how many formal nights/ optional dressup. A 70's couple alone. Thank you!
  14. The gratuities are so high and doesn't include water and coffee, or did that change?
  15. Just booked the Canada/New England cruise out of New York for this September. If you have done this itinerary on this ship, what were your pros and cons. Thank you!
