  1. Oh sorry never heard of it live in the fog ridden badlands of old London town
  2. The Prima has not been to Australia according to the records I have reviewed - am I wrong
  3. Thank you Mr A needs to get his facts right
  4. Clearly not Barcelona. Let me attach some menus if you try and call me out!
  5. Wrong!!! The package is a one-off price if you are a drinker and generally Brits are the £149 even plus tax is dirt cheap, compared to 12 lagers a day plus tax. plus wine at lunch
  6. Thanks very helpful then you 100% correct
  7. Exactly the value is £0. The issue is how NCL accounts for the Free at Sea. If they account for it as part of Vacation revenue then you are correct. However, if they account for it as ancillary income it is a different story.
  8. You always seem to think you are correct but it is best for you to stick to US law. We here have very comprehensive consumer laws. Indeed NCL are already realising that is the case with onboard credit and refunds. The holiday package regulations (which of course you are well versed in ) will ensure refunds and comp, are given. You can not cancel a package FULL STOP
  9. The answer is staring you all in the face: Either NCL has not completed the correct paperwork or They do not want to pay the taxes or administer them or Both There had been no law change in the UK so if you buy the drinks package through the UK they can not charge VAT or duty both under the holiday package regs or UK consumer law. I suggest that they have been caught out in that they can not charge UK customers anymore and NCL therefore do not want to subsidise the tax charges. - Simples BTW I have spoken to a VAT and duties expert and there are no port regulations. It is a compliance issue or they forgot they can not pass on taxes to customers
  10. Very sensible analysis. A company of this size with .36 current ratio is not great at all. Your comments regarding their customer base are so true, especially for non-haven. You also forget one other thing. all-inclusive lux vacations are now looking a lot better value and thier is no longer the swing to these floating crowded ships as the cutbacks continue. TAKE OVER within 12 months and FDR toast - prediction
  11. Your analysis is flawed throughout iMHO. Depreciation is a loss it is the cost of the ships and other assets due to the effluxion of time. It is simply an estimate of part of the cost of the capital costs. They hsve not reduced debt by 500m$ where on earth did you get that from? They aint got that sort of cash and FDR would have spun that as he does with everything else. The markets are spooked and there is a sell off and i suspect that folk are not paying the prices nd the forward market is going to have to be discounted. The next Leonardo has been delayed because of the cash position (currently unfunded) and the fact that the Prima is a total disaster and they need to remodel the ship. there will only ever be two in my view. The cost of borrowing and the extensin to 2028 is "kicking the can down the road" it just shows how bad their modeling was and they were 4 years out with their Cash flows. Say what you like these are horrible numbers and I think you do understand accounts, but we disagree on the analysis.
  12. A PERFECT analysis and guess what guests will not pay the silly prices and I think that prices will need to drop to maintain occupancy,
  13. Yes very complicated and very expensive. These Financial instruments include something you will see for the first time RESTRICTIONS I suspect (but if of course its conjecture) lenders are getting jittery and want to see the debt reduced or no further lending. Over trading is also an issue. They are in trouble especially as resistance comes to fares for a lower quality of service.
  14. There must have been some serious crises management PR going on. The share price has dropped 11% and they are in trouble. All you NCL fans read - its what I said a few years ago. BTW We are Diamond Prima is a disaster and they have now delayed the project to rebuild them bigger. Prima is an embarrassment for them and Viva is being modified. The project is delayed - all the BS from FDR about 1 ship a year up to the last quarter as I said not going to happen Read carefully all you Leonardo fans - they have not got the finance for the bigger ships Two ships and that will be it For passengers, they admit they are ripping us off with record ticket prices but still losing shareholder money. and yes look at the sell-off by the market. The market price is finite and the cold winds of the recovery bounce failing are there for all to see. The share price does not lie Let's just hope FDR get the boot by the major shareholders and they bring back some sensible management. FDR only ever delivers a spin of the news without telling people he has shagged the balance sheet. They are so over-geared that interest rate rises are going to hurt.
