  1. Just to keep in mind, I have family in Europe and travel there from time to time.  Europeans tend to dress less casual than us in the US.  People wearing t-shirts and sneakers are often tourists.  This is also a trigger for pickpockets etc.

Also, many smaller shop owners, restaurants (even in the big cities) do not accept credit cards especially US credit cards due to the higher fees.  We once even had a hotel owner who did not accept our US credit card and, yes, I did inquire beforehand but not specifically a US card.  I always go to my local bank to purchase Euro's prior to our travels.  Better exchange rate.

  2. Tap on the blue "Dining" icon in the banner across the bottom.

Tap on "Main Dining" in banner across the top.

Tap on one of the Main Dining options.

If the menu is available, it will show up near the center of the next screen. Tap on the blue "Menu".

Just an FYI, mine showed up about 30 days prior.  Mangia!!

Yes, if you are Pinnacle.  Then again, if Pinnie numbers are too high, they are excluded.   D+ lost CL access months ago...permanently.

Otherwise you must be in a Grand Suite or higher.  JS do not count..as they are not full suite.

Thanks for the clarification.  Have just recently cruised/booked Jr Suites.  I thought Jr Suites weren't eligible for Suites Lounge, but want to be sure we aren't missing out.  Thanks!! 😄

  4. Thanks, everyone!  DH and I prefer some sun, but not sure about all day.  Currently I have a port side cabin booked.  Interesting comments on that former thread too.  Since we are crossing Atlantic in Autumn, I imagined the warmth of the sun may be welcome. (I am usually cold and you will probably see me out there wrapped in a blanket. Haha)  Will discuss with DH later. Thanks, again! 😀

  5. We were on the Enchantment in late Feb/early Mar 2023 with late seating traditional dining.  The first night my fish was tasty, but barely room temp. At the end of the meal, our waiter asked how the food was.  I told him in nice way that it was good, but barely warm.  He was so apologetic and offered to get me another main dish.  I thanked him, but had had more than enough other food to fill me up.  He said going forward that he would check the temp of the plate to make sure the food was hot.  The rest of the cruise my food was hot.  I also ordered mostly the Chef's Recommendation and was never disappointed.  This was the first time I tried that strategy.  Our waiter and assistant waiter were vey pleasant and always going out of their way to please us.  In all honesty, service tended to be on the slow side, but we are on vacation and it is nice to linger not be hurried.

  6. Hello, fellow cruisers!  Has anyone stayed in Explorer cabin 9568?  There is a larger white space across the hall, which may be a steward storage/work area.  On our last cruise there was a similar area down the hall and we noticed cabin stewards there most of the day with the workroom door open, working and talking.  If this is the case, I am considering moving to another cabin.  Any other comments about this cabin?  Thanks so much and have a great day!!  😄

  7. The timing of your review couldn't be any better.   Just yesterday I booked a cruise on Enchantment.  Woohoo!!    After a long hiatus from cruising or any travel for that fact (moving cross country, our dear but very geriatric dog, and then, well, Covid), we are ready to be on the seas once again.  I love your photos and all your posts.  Have a great cruise.  Thanks!! 😀
